I love Juan Mata, very good player and a great man. Intelligent, thoughtful, considered, a man I would like to have dinner with. I really like Herrera too, another intelligent man who has a passion for our club and seems to care deeply. I adore Rashford, a local boy whose feet are firmly on the ground and who celebrated winning the FA Cup by going to the seaside with his Mum. If I was picking the team, De Gea and these 3 would the first names on my team sheet.
So, as for the rest, where to start?
Pogba is the most expensive player in . the world yet his persona doesn't not match the reality. So far, he has failed to live up to any of the hype.
Ibra looks at old and tired, a sad case of the Emperors new clothes right now
Valencia, Blind, Shaw, Lingard, Martial, Carrick all deserve chances and our support.
And so on to Captain Rooney who thinks the press have treated him disgracefully. Captain of club, captain of country, rat assed gate crashing a wedding. A player who never fulfilled his potential, a player who could and should have been a world great but can't see what he has done wrong. Time to leave Wayne, fortunately whilst Jose has made some mistakes, he seems to be calling this one right.

AJH, I too love the mini Spanish contingent we have. Me and my best mate (fellow United fan) both constantly comment on how much we like both Mata and Hererra. Some people say Mata is too slow, and yeh he lacks pace, but he's the best 10 by a mile in our squad and were a much better side with him in it. Hererra is another favourite, shows passion and commitment every time he plays, very good player too. I actually think he should be made captain, Wayne is clearly and deservedly on his way out. De Gea, Hererra and Mata are the first 3 on the team sheet for me. As for Pogba, I won't make judgements on a new player after 3 months. The lad will be fine.

Cheers Ed, although I have been on the inside since '75. I remember sitting in my Dad's car in Stockport and hearing the results as we got promoted. Everyone's opinion is valid but I fear some are tinged by optimism and hope as opposed to reality.

It was a strange choice of words, they all deserve our support, some just seem to care more or perhaps be more up for it.
