Difference is Shaw is great when he plays - but get your point. We need far more reliability at full back to form a solid back 4 and provide attacking width.

I don't think Shaw has ever been great. Decent when fit but no more than that. Can't think of a lb from a top club that contributes less when he is playing.

Unsurprisingly I diasgree with that. We're much better with Shaw in the team in my opinion. But I'd agree he probably never fulfilled his full potential as the rampaging fullback he looked at Southampton, and I'd agree we need a more dependable option that isn't Malacia or switching Dalot over.

Shaw never the same after his leg break. However his link ups with Rashford were good. On occasion!
So we keep : Mainoo, Martinez and Garnacho and sell the rest? If only! Evolution not revolution my friends, with some astute purchases in: goal, cb, dm, cm and striker. I’ll be pushing up daisies before all this happens!

It's a massive task Patrick buy also a massive opportunity for the right man.
Looks like we will have a structure above to support the right man but things will be hampered by our previous financial blunders of the lady few years. I mean ole and eth spend 900m between them the pair of tossers, and our best 2 players in the squad are academy graduates.
2 or 3 seasons of continuous improvement is what I am hoping for.
