1.Ole is a poor manager. No ifs and buts and I want him gone.
2. Owners and management need to show to some compassion and sack him for his well being and that of his family and that alone would be a big plus for all including the well being of the club.
3. Ole has justifiably taken a lot of stick to which we have nearly all contributed
4.This situation is only resolvable by Upper management.
5. They choose to do nothing. Ergo they and they alone are ultimately culpable.
6. We should vent our ire on them - It is NOT Ole's fault he is still there.

He can resign surely. that's in his hands if and only if he cares about anything but himself.

It is Ole's fault he is still here. He is waiting to get fired so that he gets compensated. If he truly loved the club he would offer to resign.

Every day he stays on the job my respect for him as a club legend continues to diminish because even he himself must see that he isn't up to the job.

I said it months ago mauve a year Ago.
Ole is out for himself. He did bit out the club first like us so he puts his family 1st.
He should be trying to negotiate an exit from the club.
I foresaw a slow and very painful, humiliating and embarrassing demise for ole. I'm delighted i feel he deserves a painful exit based on the med he has made of the job. He has left players and fans frustrated for months and years ago I feel he deserves to share in the pain he has dished out to others.
Won't be long now I reckon. He is a shambles of a manager he will ski back to Norway with millions in the bank and I begrudge him every penny bourbons horrible little man.
But ole will have the last laugh on us all waking away a very rich man rewarded fit 3 years of abject failure.
Ole has let the club the players and the fans down he is a mercenary only out to screw what he can from the owners. He did not want what is best for the club players or fans he only cares about ole and his family. Hard to criticise him for that but let's call it out as that's the truth. He is no different to Jose or di Maria in that regard. Anybody who thinks any different is sadly mistaken imo.

why would he resign and miss out on a pay day.

he can't believe his luck.

Unruly. When did you change your mind and for ole to be fired?

If any of you where being pushed out out of a job and went for informed advice you would get the same standard advice.

Do not walk of your own free will. That only let's your employer have the perfect excuse to say that they didn't give you the sack and leave you with no basis for a claim except messy constructive dismissal.

Ole is trying to honour his contract (very badly, I know) and you can't blame him for staying put. The higher management need to "fess up" and take ownership of the balls up they have made and pay for it and get us all out of this mess.

Are they Mice or Men? The first option is what I go for.

Maybe Ole just thinks he can turn it around, or maybe he realises he won't get another top job after this. Ultimately why should he walk away? The club backed him with a new deal in the summer and have shown nothing but support for him. While up until now the players seem to have backed him as well. At the end of the day a contract is between two people/ bodies/ organisations. Both parties have responsibilities, it is down to the club to decide if the manager is not meeting their expectations and act accordingly.

Maybe from the inside looking out things don't look as dire as they do from the outside looking in.

I think its difficult to make accurate assumptions on a person's character or motives without knowing the person and having inside knowledge of what is going on.

Maybe Ole is only looking out for himself, it is possible to love the club but value yourself and your family above that.

Would any of us really be prepared to sacrifice ourselves and our families financial futures for our football club?
