Feels like yesterday I was watching Rory delap throwing the ball 200 yards for Stoke.
Now his son is scoring for City.
Christ I'm old.
I might never make it as a professional footballer at this stage.

Old Leahy?
Old is looking around for those hero’s on the pitch you grew up with and finding most have now sadly passed away. Sir Bobby is still around and Nobby, Alex Stepney but many are not, Billy Foulkes, Georgie Best. The loss of Dean Jones in the cricket world yesterday was a shock.
I played until my late thirties, I think I have missed the boat, although the pace we play at I might still make it over twenty years on from my last game.
