Shame he got hurt, but why haven't the commentators mentioned the fact he was show boating and in a final especially the first 20mins you need to be assured, not show boating like that.

No surprise you feel like that or have to turn it around to slag him off, at what point was he show boating? Just looked like he was playing his normal game to me. Very sad to see, there doesn't always have to be a but.

Almost always Benny, but there is a lot to bitch about imo. Hopefully a corner will have be turned now with Jose coming on board. It's been a horrible few years football wise, all very much avoidable.
Then we have a horrible EURO's, with a terrible International performance (England), with crooks running and ruining the game at the top. Media corrupt and docile, appealing to the lowest common denominator. Pundits whoring themselves for their pals so you can't trust them, zero accountability for the yarns they spin.
Once we start seeing decent football and justified praise I will be a lot more positive. But I am guilty of expecting too much from my club, my family, friends, employees, political leaders and human-beings in general. So inevitably I am going to be a bit more of a downer than most. I always feel let down, better than not feeling anything I think, but maybe not.
For the record I have been about 50/ 50 in recent months, with pos/ neg, but I suppose some people just read what they want and take whatever they are minded to take from it.

Beast, I sympathise. The Moyes and van Gaal years turned me from an optimist to a pessimist.
At present I am a very hopeful "don't know"
