That's Jude Bellingham's parents left carrington! It would be some signing and another signal of the club going in the right direction!

From what I've seen (which isn't much) he looks a great prospect. Yet I'm not convinced he is ready to play every week for us. I think he would need a loan before getting near the first team. Which ordinarily be fine, but that's the same situation we are in with Garner.

Not seen much of him but very highly regarded so it would be nice to secure him.

It's an interesting one. on one hand I don't believe you can have too many good players. Yet, for young players to reach their potential they need to play games. We have seen many hugely hyped young players sign for massive clubs then not get the playing time they need to grow and realise that potential. Martin Odegaard at Real Madrid is an obvious one.

I certainly wouldn't be disappointed if we signed Bellingham, yet I would be interested in how the club feel he will get the game time he needs, along with Garner and Levitt when we have Matic, Fred, McTominay and Bruno already ahead of them, with the possibility of signing another midfielder in the summer.

That said looking at Bellingham in the Championship he looks like he might be ready to play in the EPL. While there are several other young players who have played regularly from a similarly young age.

Maybe the club will send one of Garner or Levitt to Birmingham on loan as a sweetener. While Bellingham adjusts to United with a bench role and cup games for a year or so. If he's that talented then there is no reason why he couldn't be a regular by the time he is 18. We had have a history of players being first choice at 17-18 years old. Best, Giggs, Rooney, Ronaldo and Rashford are all examples.
