This summer would have seen the end of David moyes original contract. Ed033 can you run a poll please?
Do people think we would be in a better position as a team and club if moyes had been allowed see his contact out than we are now after giggs lvg jose ole and the best part of 1 billion spent on players agents fees and coaches?

It's am I interesting question but Moyes's tenure was poor. There were flashes but the longer the season went on the worse it got. I think he was out of his depth and his career post United shows that Everton may well end up being his high point. A ridiculous appointment for such a major club, so many incredible Managers out there and we picked someone who had never won a trophy and had no European experience. If he had stayed I think we would have seen a car crash in the second season.

I blame the lack of quality as the main reason for his downfall.
The squad was left with aging players like Vidic, Evra, Rio, Fletcher, Carrick, Giggs.
And add to that average players like Anderson, Jones, Smalling, Cleverly, Nani, Buttner, Fabio, Bebe, Welbeck etc, .
The squad needed a major surgery.
I recollect only RVP and Mata as the quality players left during his tenure.
