What's with all the stick Jones gets? I know he hasn't delivered to the potential we thought he had but he's hardly been shocking. He's still young and given that the club have offered him a new deal then they still see the potential. Too much casual dissing on here.

Cz he's had a few years and not developed, injury prone, an accident waiting to happen. I'm not one to give stick but I know when someone isn't good enough for United.
Too much criticising someone's opinion on here when it doesn't match.

It's a banter site, people are going to disagree. My point was not directed purely at you; there are too many quick to slag off our own players. Cleverly, Young, Fellaini, Evra, and currently Valencia and Jones. I just find it a tad sad.

I've mentioned this before and I'm completely with AJH. Add Welbeck to that list. Future players to feel the wrath will be Blackett, wilson, mcnair, Perreira, Blind, Mata, Shaw, Rojo, Rvp, Depay (if he isn't Ronaldo within the first month), Januzaj if he's not on loan and maybe smallish and valdez (as soon as he makes the slightest mistake.) I get sick of the term dross, deadwood etc. Some are just better than others at a professional level. If your a professional then you need to be extremely thick skinned, clever or just thick. It's no wonder players heads get turned the other way when possible as I expect a few goggle themselves and search fans views at some point.

Yeah I know AJH wasn't having a go, course people can disagree, I do with others on certain topics. I hope jones can price me wrong. It will be interesting to see who partners a new CB signing.

I'm not saying anyone is deadwood but those that aren't good enough for United, the players I'd lost as not good enough are Evans, Jones, Blackett, Valencia. RVP I've loved but agree he's prob past his best and we need to add strength to the other areas, MF, FW, CB.All those other players mentioned are good players.
Don't get me wrong I've criticised Jones and Valecia the last couple days cz I personally feel they are squad not enough. Appreciate you'd thoughts tho. I'm a big fan of McNair to be fair (I'm a poet and I didn't know it) ha

Jones is a victim of being played out of position and injuries. He is an old fashioned defender, the amount of defensive work he does is amazing. His pass completion rate is very good too. He need an injury free run of games and I'm certain he'll prove people wrong, he's still only 23 and hasn't so plenty of time for him.

"Jones is useless, will always be useless". I've been on this page for many a year from when it was a one page / any club page. Just about done with it to be honest. There seems to be an obsession for singling out different players to exit the club. It's a team game and if someone retires or is moved on then they tend to need replacing. We seem obsessed with players who only fits a first 11 and disregarding the amount of games
