None of it is realistic although I'm gleeful the club will get rid of ole sonner rather than later i don't see any long term improvement while he is in charge.

I agree with most of it Ken you can add Lindelof to that list and I would consider getting rid of Rashford. I know I’ll get pelters for saying Rashford but for me he is never going to be anywhere near world class. He is so predictable cut inside and blast it. Maybe Barcelona can take him off our hands for a ridiculous sum. I know he’s been linked with them before. How are these scouts still in a job and some of the decisions from upstairs are laughable. A player has a few good games, first thing we do longer improved contract. Comical.

What are your thoughts on the cbs ken . I think Rojo and jones most people would move on if it was possible . But is smalling one of the best 4 cbs at the club, I think there's a strong arguement he is .
Tuanzebe seems injured pretty often and rarely selected even if fit and there's often another young lad mentioned on here who's name escapes me who may jump ahead of him soon .
If we didn't add another cb which 4 would you keep if there was the opportunity to move 3 on .

Mengi is the lad your thinking of.
Tuanzebe not played consistently for 3 years and he is only 22. He has potential i'd give him another years loan.
Smalling has proven to be not good enough over 7 years.
Is he better than lindelof is some aspects yes in others no.
Bailly always injured.
Jones. Crap and always injured.
Rojo is useless.
Lindelof just periods making the same errors.
If you have to keep 4 toss the names in a hat and take pot luck.

If we’re talking obtainable fantasy, I’d be looking at Saul, Sancho, Koulibaly and Grealish in and Perreira, Smalling, Jones, Rojo, Lingard, De Gea and Mata out.
Unfortunately, that’s probably only going to bring in about £80m (assuming we could even find buyers) and would likely cost about £300m - so I think it will remain in the realms of fantasy. Even dropping Grealish from the lost would mean a net spend of £170m odd which given the financial implications of C.V. seems unlikely.
Part of me just wants the club to throw everything we’ve got at Sancho and Saul because I think they’d completely transform our team; but I think the need for a top CB has been growing more and more obvious with each passing week since coming back from lockdown, so it’s a tough one.
