After 25 games we were 9th and were about to play spurs who were unbeaten under Jose and city in a week. I thought ole wouldn't make it past those games. To come 3rd is a very good achievement. It's not what he would have wanted or any of us. We all want titles. But when we apply perspective we missed martial, rashford and pogba for huge parts of the season. Bruno only arrived towards the end of January. Our squad has never been as good as the top 2's over the last few seasons but now the foundations are laid, we must back this manager and give him a platform to achieve something here.

On the game today, Bruno showed his temperament. I thought he was dreadful at times, but he never stopped working and he took his pen brilliantly. He is a proper Manchester United player. Also, it may have been his last ever kick in a United shirt but I'm absolutely made up for Lingard. No doubts he probably needs to move on this summer, but the guy has always worked hard for us, scored some big goals over the year. You could see what the goal meant to the other players for him, he gets a lot of stick but I'd say he's a very good fella, and he's popular in the dressing room. His time has come, but like I say if that's his last involvement, I'm glad it's a positive one.
