I watched Ole smile on the sideline at 94 mins and compared it with Ronaldo storming down the tunnel seconds later. One is an out and out winner, the other is the clueless Ex Cardiff manager. The difference is, as they say, chalk and cheese.
It has not taken long for Ronaldo to demonstrate frustration, he is not here to retire, he wants to win, knows what it takes and can't see it where we are. I can imagine his frustration and likely this is matched by Varane. Take a step back and imagine how these two players think right now. They must surely now see that the structure, the tactics, the organisation of the team is not going to win the major prizes. Ronaldo storming off will be dismissed as annoyance at the result, however, I suspect it is that, it is also likely more than that. Today, he was played as a substitute. Why? We are having an international break, who cares about Portugal. Yet you wonder if the rumours about Ronaldo suggesting we need to play more quickly, which is against what Ole was saying, meant the manager was stamping his authority on the situation by dropping him.
One is a winner the other happy not to lose. Time is very up on Ole, yet the only people not seeing it are the decision makers at the club, burying their heads in sand.

Redman - there is no way Ole has the balls to drop Ronnie to make a point. Ronaldo is bigger than every person at the club and its a war he will never win.
If it is true, very Jose like. Start a fight you can't win until you get paid off. I doubt Ole has the tactical knowledge to pull that stunt.
