No real point Herrera, just find it interesting as Jose supposedly has an interest in taking DDG to Roma.

Herrera, because it backs up Shappys opinion that the club should choose Henderson over De Gea.
Considering Red Man has posted quotes from professionals in the game explaining how poor Ole is, and Shappy ridicules him for posting quotes. This is a quite hypocritical.

I would choose Henderson over De Gea if that is our choice.
The reason is Henderson is still very young and raw in GK terms and will improve. DDG is declining.
Henderson is better suited to modern football in his skillet and our current style of play.
Are there better keepers out there potentially available than Hendo right now? Yes there are.
Do we have positions I would prioritise with the money we have available in our system? Yes CB, both CM positions, RW for a start then CF. I would argue both FB with a top quality player might come before GK.

I wouldn't pay much attention in what Mourinho says. Even if he believes what he says he is no different from me, you, Ole or anyone.
I mean its not like Henderson plays behide closed doors and only Zose can see him play and judge him. I don't see why his opinion counts more than others. Is he a goalkeeper special-ist?
And to the point: If he really wants De Gea at Roma then the best he has to do is to overate Henderson and make us believe that we have a real gem and we must relish De Gea.

Mumbles, not at all. If I needed a quote to back up my opinion then I'd chose someone who I trust to be speaking the truth. While I have huge respect for Jose and all he has achieved, I am fully aware that what he says to the press needs to be taken with a healthy pinch of salt.
As it stands I don't feel like my opinions need validation from anyone. I am free to think what I like, and judge things as I see them. I trust my judgement so I don't need to hear or read my opinions echoed back at me to reaffirm my thoughts.
Like I said I found it interesting that Jose was commenting on our goalkeeping situation in the press, especially as only last week there were links in the press that Roma might be interested in signing DDG.
Jose is a calculated man, what I'm thinking is that Jose talking about one of our players less than a week after his new club was linked to that player might validate that link and there might be something in it. I wouldn't be surprised to see DDG move to Rome this summer.

Roma are not and never were in for ddg. Romero is a much more likely target.
