I think we all are.

I'm a little excited by the prospect but I'm not expecting it. I think we have a great chance, but Southampton aren't mugs and won't just give us the win without a fight. They beat City since the restart so they have form for beating teams that on paper are stronger than them.

Also as Ole suggested we are going to have to start to consider rotation, 3 games in 6 days is a lot, and we need to rest players probably in each of the three games.

So far since the restart we have won every game by 3 goals where we have named our strongest 11, the two games we haven't named our strongest 11 is include the 1-1 draw with Spurs and the narrow 2-1 win against Norwich in the cup.

I think that highlights that our strongest 11 is very good, but our squad is lacking and when we rotate we aren't as likely to run out easy winners.

With us playing Leicester on the final day and Chelsea playing Wolves I think the next three results will either set us up for a strong finish to the season or mean it's a nail biting finish.

I am actually happy you posted this. It our matchday and an important on at that, so I'd rather be talking about our chances of going third and keeping it than wasting our time on the city decision. Our qualification is in our hands, hopefully we see it through.
I am excited and a little nervous to be honest. Somehow i felt less pressure while doing the chasing, but now with the chance of actually leapfrogging both Chelsea and Leicester is quite a bottle of excitement and anxiety. Add to that, if we pull tonight off, we will need extra focus for the remaining matches to keep hold of 3rd.

Glory Glory Man Utd!

I'm excited as well as nervous.
Praying that players don't pick up any injuries.

I would start with our strongest 11. A win tonight puts the pressure on them so we must go for it.

Totally agree PogtheDog. Spot on imo.

Agree pog. As jack Charlton would say put em under pressure.

We could play our strongest 11 and still lose. Maybe some of them need a break.

Imagine if we play our strongest 11, but a few of them are running on empty and we lose. It cranks up pressure on our other games, further knackers our best players and dents their confidence.

{Ed025's Note - you have to try and win all your remaining games shappy, but i fancy a 2-2 draw tonight, two good offensive teams with poor defences mate..

A poor defence with joint 2nd best record.
