Ed what’s your view of matic? I think he lacks in mobility but he makes it up in his reading of the game and passing ability. He was shocking under Jose but a change of tactics and more movement in front of him has really brought out the matic of old. Having herrera’s legs next to him has also made a big difference. Next season we need to rotate him as I don’t think he can play as much as he has done. But brilliant player in my eyes and pleased to see him step up in recent weeks.
{Ed001's Note - used correctly and he is an excellent player, but he can struggle to cope if he does not have legs beside him like you said. He does have a lovely left foot on him and is strong in the air too.}

Matic has been excellent these last few weeks. His reading of the game is good, but Herrera has massively reduced his work load.
I don't think he is mobile enough to play in a double pivot. He needs two midfielders along side him to cover for midfield runners.
I think we need to find someone to come in and rotate with him. Give him a rest and limit fatigue.
Reben Neves would be my pick.

Yes Matic has a good presence in the team.
The team doesn't look the same when he is out.
