I'm not an advocate of shiny new signings every year, so in many ways I'm glad we have just added a promising, young right back and quality midfielder. Time for Jose and his team to earn their corn and coach.

Lindelof looked great in the world cup and back end of the season, and Bailly is a machine. Midfield of Fred, Matic and Pogba is very strong in my opinion and I think Andreas could be a good player if given a chance.

Left back is a glaring weakness, as I don't think Young or Shaw cut it. RW can be filed by the world class Sanchez, Martial or Rashford if we don't go with a 3-5-2 which I actually think we should.

There is a good squad in there - the second best in the country in fact right now, but I also think Jose will leave in the summer at the latest and whoever comes in can really fine tune them to a style we fans want to see.

I for one am glad we did not go any wate millions on the likes of Bale, Sandro etc. It's not the way things should be done.
