A very happy United fan today!
Would just like to make a comment on LVG after these rumours of Mourinho have come out.
1. I think it's terrible that it's come out (true or not), just after we have won our first trophy since SAF retired. It should have been all about the team and staff yet it's been overshadowed by this story.
2. I really do feel for LVG. Despite our poor performances and some of his poor handle of press conferences, I do believe he has done a good job at the club. Not in every way that's for sure and I do think his time should come to an end this summer but for me, he's set us up well for the future. The amount of young talent that he's brought through and given debuts to is brilliant and I think Lingard's winner is the icing on the cake. We've got martial, rashford, lingard, CBJ, Fosu-Mensah, McNair, Shaw to name a few. Also with Januzaj and Depay who I think have the potential, Depay more so, but lack something just now. He's done a great job at getting rid of the dead wood and I think whoever takes over, needs to carry that on as I still believe there's more that can go. All in all I think LVG's reign, although not pretty on the pitch, has been a success of some sort.

I think he was a good buffer post Fergy.
Moyes ended up being the sacrificial lamb.
LVG has put a lot in place, but in the end he simply could not create an attractive style of football that could cut it at a team like utd.
Now we need a manager like Mourinho to get back to winning.
i'm not sure anyone could have followed SAF and succeeded.
