Does anyone know the reason why Depay hasn't been officially announced today?
I generally thought we would have had all our business done by today. I thought the manager wanted all his new players in too work with them over pre-season.
Not sure about anyone else, but I hate these bloody waiting games. :O)

Believe he wanted them in place for the tour which is some way off yet, the window has only just opened i don't know why everyone is panicing so much.

Wasn't Depay officially announced back on 12 June, only the transfer paperwork is filed today.

Whose panicking? I am just very inpatient that it all. I was under the impression that we would have done most of our business already, given what was said by the manager before the season ended.

Whoever negotiated 1st of August instead of July our end needs to be shot! Adidas want us to be successful so the inevitable log jam this issue may cause can only harm us and our sponsors - it's just stupid all round.

if we are actually waiting til August to announce players with lathe new kit deal we are the biggest mugs in football. There is no way LVG can expect to mount any sort of side if they have no pre season. I thought the rumour was if we hadn't signed our first choice players by June 30th we would move onto our second choices. Why have we not sealed Schneiderlin already maybe risk the chance of losing out haggling over a couple of million when we blow millions on the likes of Nani's wages

Wasn't meaning you samthered, meant a lot of people posting that we are letting a lot of targets slip through our fingers, i do agree i too thought we would have had a few in by now but we did sort the Depay deal out very early and i am sure we will see movement soon on other incomings.
