Apparently, we have had a £35mil bid rejected by Everton turned down for John stones, they want £50mil.

They can keep him. we will never pay that. Its like when they wanted 35 million for Baines, they will bite your hand off for 15 mill. weird club to do business with. They overestimate and over price everyone, you would think they are perennial CL squad. ed007 will probably let me have it now lol.

BTW 007 what is your view of BR at Celtic.
{Ed007's Note - I'm just delighted they never brought Neil Lennon back mate, that was my biggest fear. I'm not exactly over the moon about Rodgers but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and see how it goes. He certainly said all the right things at his press conference and the board are finally going to invest in improving the quality of the squad. If he doesn't get CL qualification this coming season he'll be under pressure immediately though.}

Looking at your picture ED007, RD should still be there? I guess Rodgers is a step up in case that he is a bit more known, but i think what the fans didn't like about RD could end up being some of the same with Rodgers. What i is eager to see is how the players will improve (or not) physically.
{Ed007's Note - I was gutted that it didn't work out for Deila, we have far too many lazy players who weren't willing to work and change their ways and that led to his downfall. If the support set the same demands from Rodgers as they did from Deila he'll find it a real struggle but the board have pulled off a master stroke by appointing an Irish Celtic fan, the gullible morons in our support will cut him more slack simply because of that - I won't be.}

Yeah, i had a great feeling about RD untill the Malmø game. I think that was the turningpoint, remember RD said he thought the players looked nervous in the game, and Brown stated that; "Celtic players don't get nervous" I felt like Brown and a couple of the other players didn't get on from that point. And you could see it in the team from that point and on. Hopefully Rodgers will get you thrue to the CL and IT will sort itself out. Rodgers seems to say all the right things, so hopefully the football will be right to! Best of luck to you though! I'll be watching with excitement!
