Interesting to read Rooney talk about the change at OT when SAF retired. Talked about no phones on in the dressing room, everyone was focused on the game ahead. Now l understand tech has moved on a lot since then but that was the rule and everyone obeyed. If someone new arrived they duly followed suit hence the attitude always continued, focus, fight and 100%. Can you imagine going against, Keane, Neville, Rio or Vidic etc. We need that attitude back and players to enforce it. SAF set the tone for everything but it was the players who pushed it on and off the pitch.
