What are your thoughts Eds including about Andreas Pereira?
In the pre-season showings as much as I saw him,
I saw a tenacious player, who was putting a shift in, and doing decent defensive work and more importantly trying to quicken the speed of the player with a very forward thinking passing approach.
His dead ball abilities are really good, and he was shielding the ball well.
Then after the huddersfield game, I don't think he's had a chance to play, maybe a cup game but I'm unsure.
I agree he didn't spot the runners running past him but it's a difficult skill to learn, especially for someone who has mostly played ahead and not as a deep lying playmaker.
I don't understand what has gone wrong with that, because he's hardly had a look in. Maybe the manager believes he's going to leave anyway and is holding him back.
Or is he simply not good enough?
I believe he deserved a chance but hasn't gotten it as much as others have.
{Ed001's Note - it depends on where you intend to play him, but personally I do not see a fit for him in the current system. He should be playing a number 10 role and you don't have that in your team most of the time and when you do, Pogba occupies it for some reason.}

Should have replaced Mata and/ or Fellaini's place in the squad over the summer. One of if not the only player in our squad capable of setting a desirable tempo and I'd have had him starting both last night and against Palace.
