A statement signing by Ed that'd be, Jose and any manager would attempt at least to sign him before Perisic if possible, not saying Perisic is a bad player, in fact I'm sure he's very good for Jose and would be for us but Bale can be on another planet, read somewhere about medical issues tho, not sure what details it was now, which is obviously concerning and poss why people will choose Perisic over Bale BUT could you pass over the opportunity to bring Bale to OT, I think not.
