What do we make of the numerous empty seats at the ground last night? It was noticeable.
Is it fans showing discontent or is it a one off? In a stadium like ours empty seats are very obvious.

It was the game that was meant to be played on a Saturday but got postponed because of the FA cup. I sent my tickets back and got the money back because they never gave out the date for the game until a few weeks back and I didn't want to go mid-week. I assume that others did a similar thing which might explain the empty seats.

I suspect there was a smaller crowd for the obvious reason of it being a mid week game against mid table opposition, add to that we have an FA cup semi final at Wembley on Saturday. Then its not really that suprising, we have had lower attendances all through the Sir Alex years during similar curcumstances.
I just think it has been twisted by those opposed to our manager. I have seen several pictures of the stadium less than half full, but they were taken during half time or a few minutes before full time.
