1 week after Pep moan about not having enough money to compete with other clubs, he proceeded to spend 57 mil on Laporte and (probably) 60 mil for Mahrez (both exclude wages and hotel fees) and the media is acting as though Pep is signing 2 players for free.

Aymeric’s fee I assume doesn’t include the hefty tax implication of the process. I didn’t follow it closely so not sure AB were happy to deal directly with City. Either way the hypocrisy is ludicrous. on a totally unrelated note Tatith Chong is a potential superstar.

Buying to stop others getting them. Laporte would of been a good signing for us but I think Varane is coming in the summer
Mahrez is not in the same league as Sanchez and can be hit and miss . Interesting to see who the city player is going the other way -Hart😆😆.
