Reading all the comments and can't help but feel angry that I missed the game as it started at 4am my region time.
However I also feel happy that we did well and the the captain scored and assisted as well. great if someone can share how many more we could have scored and by who and also how many we could have let in?
Appreciate and excited about this weekend's game.

We could/ should have scored three more (IMO) and maybe conceded one or two at most. It was a largely good performance with dips in intensity - which is to be expected when controlling the game. I thought at one point it was going to be the Stoke/ Arsenal game all over again as we missed a few chances to make it 2-0, but once we got the second goal it was never in doubt.
Miki was outstanding, albeit against average opposition. He looked like a potential season changer if he can replicate that form against premier league sides. We need someone like him who is capable of unlocking a defence with an intricate pass or a bit of close control. Reminded me a little of Silva for City when on form.
