Juventus have bought pjanic and Higuain and they already had a very impressive team. Even if they sell Pogba, they are already in a better position thank last year.
It's amazing how they continue to play the market and improve year on year.
Maybe we should be signing some of their financial and managerial team to run our club.

After they paid €90m for Higuain?

He scored 35 goals last year and he will be more instrumental to Juve than Pogba. Pogba is not as key to their set up and they seem to be making all right moves. I reckon they will win serie A by 15 points this year.

They are very good at what they do. When people are talking about Lukaku going for 50 to 60 million pounds, Higuain fee does not seem out of place. I would take him all day over Lukaku. For me Juve are one of the fav with or without Pogba for CL.

You cannot possibly be serious that £75 million is " not out of place for Higuain "?

The world has gone mad.

He's 28.

Ronaldo cost £80m and was just coming into his peak, Bale cost £85m and had his best years ahead of him. They are both top 10 if not top 5 footballers in the world.

Higuain isn't a top 5 striker, never has been. and he's 29

I do agree that Pogba is not irreplaceable for Juve. Infact they already got his replacement in Pjanic, a better player, admittedly with less potential, for only £30m.

Its crazy money and that just proves it that the ability of the player doesn't set the price up it has a lot of other things combinded.

The hardest thing in football is to find players who can score goals IMO and will always fetch the highest transfer numbers. 28 is prime years for strikers and i rate him very highly. Ed002 said something about that there is more to the deal with Juve getting a sweetener in the future but would not elaborate any further but said quite common in Italy.

I don't believe they have paid what the media is reporting and think there is a lot more to it.

We paid almost 30 million pounds for RVP 5 years ago when he was turning 30 so to get the top scorer in their league who has almost averaged a goal a game and someone who starts ahead of aguero for argentina ( in recent copa america) is a good buy for them.

Whatever way you cut it or try to justify it, the fee ( if correct ) is ridiculous. Higuain is a decent player, but not top top class. The ( again reported ) fee relates I believe to a release clause of 90 million euros. It is madness and surely unsustainable. Someone mentioned what happened to Leeds United the other day, and while I know the circumstances are different, it cannot be good for the game in the long term.
The way it's going, we will see be seeing more teams going under due to overspending in an effort just keep up with the top teams.
Football has gone mad. The fees, wages and all personnel involved with football at the highest level is completely detached from reality.
