Reports today suggesting Carrick will go in the summer? Now I love Carrick and think he has shown great service for our club but may just need replacing as his age is doesn't bode well for him?
As my favourite man Tielemans has chosen Juve, Ruben Neves would be next choice?
Do you think Neves would be the ideal choice or is someone else in mind?
I think he has a £30m release clause aswell?

I like the look of Kanye from Leicester, think he has been a big part of there success very quick and a good passer of the ball.

Neves is good but he's not ready to replace Carrick. If I could pick anyone it would be Verratti, absolute class.

I'd take Pjanic - Carrick has been the most over sung, under sung hero ever for me. He has had a couple of good seasons, but on the whole he hasn't delivered enough to justify all the sudden praise of recent years. Bit part player treated like a key player by a lot of fans and pundits and I don't understand why.

Carrick has been a good servant but has clearly slowed down.
Dele Alli for me - but not realistic. Neves wouldn't be a bad option, but I don't think a direct replacement is necessary. Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin and Blind all play the Carrick role - we need a bit more dynamism. A space opening up in the middle gives room for a more attacking central midfielder that can also sit deep - perhaps why we are looking at Renato Sanches.

Carrick is vital to this team and I think he should be kept around as long as he can still play.
He is the only midfielder we have, barring Herrera, that can play an accurate pass forward. It's no surprise our best runs in recent years have come with Carrick in the side.
Will always be an underrated player even by our own fans.

For me, anyone who can just pass forward and not backwards or sideways will do! Schweini just slows things down and Schneiderlin does what he's supposed to and is defensive midfielder?
Carrick is now getting on AND NEEDS REPLACING?
More forward passing so we can put pressure on the teams we are facing!

Kanye's a bit of a gold digger, he'll be here one season and then off to Paris.
You think you'll make your team stronger with these types of players, but then it all falls down.

I'd have a go and try to sign Payet. Okay he's a little old, but he's proven in the EPL, and he's shown he can handle both sides of the game. Then let him bring through someone like Perreira.
