Why is Darmian not no.2 and shaw no. 3?
I'd have given Wilson 9 unless we got someone coming in?

Just in case people are confused numbers aren't assigned to positions they are assigned to players. Players can choose to wear whichever number they lIke as long as nobody else is wearing it.

Darmian had the same number at torino and apparently he's very superstitious
Luke Shaw chose 23 because he said he's comfortable with that no. and he also had that at saints
Certain players have favourite numbers and if possible will always choose their preferred no.
