I feel like it will be 2-2, both teams look like they can be got at so far.
A lot will come down to the injuries for Cunha/ Mount/ Dalot as if all fit I think they all come into the team. If not then we have choices of Fernandes stepping forward and Mainoo coming in at CM.

Of course I want a win. However I think, like Utd Road, that it if we win it will be a false dawn with a few disappointments to follow and should temper our expectations for a while regardless of the result.
That said as long as we see progress I am cool with that. Hopefully we see a more pronounced move towards the intended style of play.

I think the obligatory Fernandes penalty will make things interesting but I'll go for a narrow City win by a goal. Bayindir to start, a debut away in a derby seems a bit much.

Not sure who will win. But my prediction is that both new keepers will start and one of them will end up costing their team the game.

I think we will win this one. City will play a high line, can go from defence pr deep midfield over the top with pace which overcomes pur weakness and theory strength of their midfield and strong transition.
We need to see the wing backs replaced during the game after 45 or 60 minutes ans run themselves into the ground to counter city's strengths.
Do that and we win and the comments will be that we were surprisingly comfortable. Not a false dawn but an over reaction to a lot of work still ahead for the next 2 years and 4 transfer windows before we have a real strong competent squad again with few weaknesses.

Looks like more of the same rubbish this can’t go on it’s criminal the way this is being allowed to continue next international break will see a change this is just not working and never will give it 3 5 or 10 years 2 can’t play 3 in midfield no matter who the personnel employed it’s childish to think it will ever work.
