Sancho wants 10m to walk. When has he run? It got smacked me that a lad with great talent is not aiming for higher and more in life.

I feel sorry for his family and kids because school and social life means he is the laughing stock for centuries. Wait till his children start asking questions.

Reddevilfan

1.) 20 Aug 2025 19:11:13
We pay him £13m a year, why would we pay him £10m to walk away.
Keep him on the books and make him do promotional work around the world hosting fan forums for 12 months, let’s see how long he lasts.

2.) 20 Aug 2025 20:20:26
Including the amortization cost of the last 10 months of his contract of about £12m he's going to cost us 80% of his £13m salary. So around £22m in total. You would think most clubs are going to steer clear of a players who has been rejected by United and Chelsea and who, rather than grasp an offer to play football somewhere, would prefer to sit on his arse for the next 10 months. Itv would be worth it for United to sell him for £20m and cover 1/ 2 the remaining salary commitment, but a player who was highly touted, was once considered to be of international quality, can't even command a £20m transfer.

3.) 21 Aug 2025 06:45:08
All this about Sancho, are we talking the same player that Shappy said was so good and along with Onana was the missing part of the ETH master plan of a jog saw with his intricate play, speed and precision…. was going to take us to the moon…. how did that go!

Was always a waste of time even at Dortmund and everywhere he been, the red flags were there, still we were stupid enough to give him a contract so all of our own making and he milking that.
No principles or honesty in football.

4.) 21 Aug 2025 10:18:27
That stalker is back Shappy, he knows what you said well before he had an account, creepy at best.

5.) 21 Aug 2025 13:59:14
If he’ll walk for 10m I suspect he has somewhere to walk to. Hopefully they will offer him 4m see what happens.

6.) 21 Aug 2025 15:11:20
GDS, I have been able to read for far too many years! Is that difficult for you to grasp…. Clearly is! So carry on.

7.) 21 Aug 2025 18:03:14
Eth didn't sign sancho. He inherited him. i'm no eth fan but we can't blame him on sancho.

8.) 21 Aug 2025 20:03:29
Sancho appeared a good signing on paper, shame his talent never made it off the page.

10 Aug 2025 15:51:11
Take with a pinch of salt but it's on X that Rasmus is leaving on loan. He refused but has been told to go as playing time will be vastly limited

Good news if true.

Reddevilfan

1.) 10 Aug 2025 18:33:47
Makes sense to loan him out for a loan fee + his wages covered. No one is going to pay the amortized value of his transfer cost. This way we won't have to book a capital loss.

23 Jun 2025 22:20:47
Rumours that United have accepted a bid for Sanch from Napoli?

Scott MacT is on £90k per week and V Osihmen gets £162k per week so I doubt sancho will accept the wages Napoli offer.

Reddevilfan

1.) 23 Jun 2025 23:14:30
Osimhen £162k pw, I think not, it's well documented he is on circa £400,000k pw at present, the figure he is also demanding from us!

Seemingly he has stated he is not looking for a pay rise from us.

Suspect it will all prove irrelevant as AL Hilal have come back for him with an increased offer of £34,000,000 per annum, that's £653,000pw. Hard to turn away from that kind of dough.

2.) 23 Jun 2025 23:45:41
If he wants the money more than playing for us let Osimhen go simple.

3.) 24 Jun 2025 00:16:40
Quite so Salford, can't see us giving him £400k pw anyway, so would mean him taking a pay cut, don't see that happening.

Only player I know who took a pay CUT to come to us is M De Ligt. (Goes up when we get ECL qualification) However, show's a terrific attitude and desire to join us. He was of course at Bayern, so was already at massive club, he just wanted to play regularly. Well done him!

4.) 24 Jun 2025 05:19:07
Sadly, it’s difficult to see him leaving on a permanent deal. And why would he? If he stays, he continues to earn a ridiculous wage for one more season and then gets a nice £10m+ signing on fee next summer after leaving on a free. We’ll almost certainly allow him to leave on loan to recoup some of his wages, so it’s a win-win for him.

Personally, I’d like to see us take the L and force him to play with the reserves this season. Dock his wages every time he’s late and then sack him after it’s happened enough times. Allowing him to call the shots makes the club’s leadership look like clowns.

5.) 24 Jun 2025 05:56:53
Redseven, nothing to do with us looking like clowns, there is such a thing as employment law/ contracts/ rights basically Sancho is in driving seat, it just comes down to pride and if he wants to be playing, not much else!

Deligt playing regularly, you mean when he is not injured, plus we allowed him to bring the fridge he carries around on his back with him!

6.) 24 Jun 2025 10:27:12
De Ligt played 29 out of 38 league games last season, I think we get that you don’t like or rate him Maze but you don’t need to say it constantly or make out his injuries are far worse than they are.

7.) 24 Jun 2025 12:59:53
I want our trophy back.

Osimhen is currently earning just over £160,000 per week. He is reported to be looking for significantly more money. This is why he is looking for a transfer, and why he hasn’t found a buyer.

My suspicion is that he would prefer to stay in Europe, and his agent is trying to see if anyone will double his wages here. If not, he’ll be off to Saudi.

Shame because he’s a good player, but his wage demands would undermine the club’s attempt to change its broken wage structure.

8.) 24 Jun 2025 13:25:02
Osimhen is pie in the sky. A shame, I'd love to see him in the Prem, he's a really exciting player. But unless the likes of Chelsea are prepared to give him what he wants (I doubt it, given just like us they've taken steps to sort out their wage structure), he'll be off to Saudi where they'll pay him handsomely.

9.) 24 Jun 2025 17:01:34
I read the Napoli offer was two players in part-ex. Other than Osimhen, who do they have that fits the system?

10.) 25 Jun 2025 20:57:20
Osimhen is apparently on 10m euros a year and is willing to join us for no pay rise .

Man United agree deal to sign 2006 born Mali international talent Sékou Koné from Guidars FC,

Reddevilfan

1.) 22 Aug 2024 18:46:46
anyone want to do a write up on his strengths and pretend they know who he is lol.

2.) 22 Aug 2024 19:49:18
let me check YouTube, Ahmad!

3.) 22 Aug 2024 21:08:44
He's been good at the under 17 world cup apparently.

4.) 22 Aug 2024 21:33:14
It seems that Christopher Vivell, new director of recruitment, has a hand in this. He previously had roles at RB Leipzig and Salzburg, apparently they have a connection with Guidars.
Time will tell if this works or not, seemingly he is a defensive midfielder.
Will be a big cultural change for the lad, wish him good luck and hope he makes it.

5.) 23 Aug 2024 06:28:42
Essay incoming!

6.) 23 Aug 2024 08:55:39
Wazza ???.

7.) 23 Aug 2024 11:04:06
I watched some of the U17 world cup but mostly Argentina and France. The Argentinian guy city signed is a really good player and gets your attention. I did not watch any of the Mali games.

8.) 23 Aug 2024 13:20:02
Shappy - It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair. But it was also the summer transfer window that we welcomed Sékou Koné to the club. I remember watching him running in Mali in the care free days of his youth … *3,000 words later* - he probably should be ready for a loan next summer.

9.) 23 Aug 2024 13:52:09
?? very good Danny.
It might rain but it might not rain if the sun comes out. But it might only be out for a short period if it goes back in again it might rain.
However if the wind gets up it could be windy so hang your washing out but look out for the rain in case the sun doesn't come out.

Little bit shocked, must be a good sign that we are beginning to move forward as a club instead of the regression we have all witnessed.

3.) 17 Jul 2024 19:43:23

I think that Wolves nr7 Andre i think his name is if correct. I watched him against city and he was doing everything in his abilities to help out the defence nicking the ball back playing out to gomez etc

I think he would be a a great buy if Anderson is not attainable.

Shappy has written an article entitled, Manchester United Should Target Relagation Team's Players

22 Jan 2026 23:24:31
Let's hope they replace like for like.

They said he’s done,
They said he’s sloooow…
But he’s OUR CASE-MIRO,
AND HE RUNS THE SHOW!

Reddevilfan

1.) 24 Jan 2026 11:25:21
Casemiro when you ignore the money has been a great signing for us. He's a leader on and off the pitch, a role model, has great experience and has been a quality player for us. He's come up clutch with key goals and he seems to have really embraced the club and taken us to heart.

He leaves big shoes to fill. I also think that with his departure confirmed, along with what seems to be the certain.

2.) 24 Jan 2026 12:29:48
The dog nudged me and I hit send early ?

I was saying with it almost certain that Ugarte will leave this summer as well, then that really just leaves Mainoo as a special-ist midfielder (Bruno and Mount can play there in a pinch but need an all action defensive midfielder alongside them) .

That for me means that we probably need to sign 3 midfielders this summer ideally, unless there is a youth player who is ready to play 15-20 games next season.

In an ideal world we'd sign a physical/defensive box to box player, then a player who is more of a holding/sitting whose an expansive passer, and then an all rounder type player.

An all rounder like Elliot Anderson would be great as he could literally play alongside anyone and that midfield works well. While if as expected Wolves go down then a player like João Gomes as that physical and aggressive box to box player would be great. As for a someone who is more of a holding player with great passing range, we could possibly look at someone like Ruben Neves who will be available on a free in the summer I believe. EPL proven, adds some experience and leadership, his wages would be high though. Other possible options could be Fabian Ruiz, Hayden Hackney, Lamine Camara or Lucien Agoumé as that more sitting passer.

Let’s call a spade a spade. Martinelli was very lucky not to see red. Dropping the ball onto Bradley, then using his knee to press down before shoving an injured player off the pitch is unacceptable behaviour — no matter who you support.

That kind of conduct should never be normalised or excused, especially when it’s clearly visible to fans on all sides.

Arsenal have rarely been an honest team in moments like these, and their habit of time-wasting and feigning injuries has been on show for years. This was just another example — and it deserved stronger punishment.

Reddevilfan

1.) 09 Jan 2026 05:45:21
It didn't look good from Martinelli but to be fair he probably thought it was a bit of timewasting as he doesn't have the benifit of all the angles like we do on TV. On a side note the comments about it from Slot were class, he could easily have ripped the Arsenal player to bits.

2.) 09 Jan 2026 10:52:56
Martinelli was frustrated because he thought it was time wasting and also looked like Bradley was deliberately rolling back onto the pitch.

So where was VAR? Bottled it again?

Where was VAR when the players were getting physical, handbags some will say, yet hands up aggression, a melee, players out of control. Isn’t that points deductions?

On VAR when Cas was sent off for putting his hands up to someone’s throat it was all correct, when Semenyo did it to Dalot, no problem. So when Martinelli did that where is the VAR punishment? Looks to me like VAR is selective.

3.) 09 Jan 2026 12:15:29
My pet hate is what I call 'whataboutary' redman ? one of my pet hates i should say.
I hate the poor me, and look what happened to them attitude.
Var is a bit of a joke its inconsistent because its not perfect and there is too much human involvement in it imo.

4.) 09 Jan 2026 13:03:19
Martinelli probably assumed just because of theatrics from what Arsenal players can do.
But more last night was (Liverpool being lauded by Neville) playing for a draw with their constant timewasting tippy tappy without going anywhere, passed around the defenders go wide, back round the defenders again.

Slobozai constantly throwing himself to the floor and the usual culprit Maccallister who goes down holding a part of the body whether tackled or putting in a nasty challenge himself but still goes down as if tackled.

5.) 09 Jan 2026 13:05:45
Ken mentions 'whataboutary' then uses Boris responsable for Brexit football analogies and every brexiteer is stupid.

6.) 09 Jan 2026 13:09:09
The problem is Ken, VAR is having a huge impact on the outcome of games and/or future games (players being suspended or not suspended for example) and it's inconsistency brings into question the integrity of football by making outcomes feel arbitrary.

I agree about 'whataboutery' generally in life but within Football, VAR should be in place to remove all of this but sadly all it seems to have done IMO is intensified it.

7.) 09 Jan 2026 13:54:59
If what Martinelli did was so bad why didn’t VAR give a straight red?

8.) 09 Jan 2026 18:01:59
I thought it was fine. Too many players roll around and waste time. Yes, this time there was an injury, but you reap what you sow. Slot had it right.

9.) 09 Jan 2026 22:23:51
I admire slot for his comments. Total de-escalation ?.

05 Jan 2026 11:42:08
With Amorim gone, we’re straight back into the same debate again — but honestly, who actually steps into this job?
Emery wasn’t great at Arsenal, but look at him flying at Villa where the manager isn’t being micromanaged every five minutes. That alone tells you a lot. I can’t see him accepting the United job unless he’s given real control — and we all know how likely that is.
Maresca doesn’t convince me at all. Dire football, overly rigid, and Chelsea actually looked better without him. This squad already struggles with confidence and intensity — the last thing we need is another system-first coach draining what little life is left.
McKenna is interesting.

He knows the club, understands the pressure, and can work under constraints. But the big question is whether he’s willing to be a yes man for Sir Jim. If he is, we risk another cog in the machine. If he isn’t, does he even get the job?
Personally? I’d love to see Keane brought in with Fletcher to see out the season. Not because it’s some tactical masterstroke, but because standards would be non-negotiable. At this point, we need accountability more than philosophy.
And honestly… can it really get any worse?
At the very least, we’d find out who’s strong enough mentally to wear the shirt — and who absolutely isn’t.
United don’t need another “project”.
They need a backbone.

Reddevilfan

1.) 05 Jan 2026 12:11:16
I’d like to see Ole with Keane. Yes it didn’t end well last time but that’s because his game plan went out the window with Ronnie coming back. Ole loves the club and adored by fans. The problem is United is a toxic job so who would actually want to come to us.

I can’t see who? Genuinely. Also if you think Keane is going to be a yes man then no chance. The manager needs to be backed and not just money wise.

2.) 05 Jan 2026 13:20:26
As a keane fan boy I know keane is no yes man and as long as SAF heart beats RK won't get a look in.

It would tarnish SAF if RK walked in and turned us from relegation fodder to challenging for the title.

But yeah keane and Ole would be immense and i'd have no doubt many fans wouldn't say no either.

3.) 05 Jan 2026 13:26:13
A few mainstream media outlets are suggesting Glasner. I assume as he'll be out of contract - surely not because of the Crystal Palace formation. I don't know what formation/s Glasner used previously, but I think I've seen enough of that back 3 malarky to last a life-time. I'd prefer to see us free from that debate and get back to a good old 433.

4.) 05 Jan 2026 13:36:17
From what I hear about McKenna at Ipswich it does not strike me as him being a yes man either.

Personally I can see the club going for glasner at the end of the season.

5.) 05 Jan 2026 13:36:28
With you Singh. I think that’s an interesting combo.

6.) 05 Jan 2026 15:20:19
Ole wasn’t good enough, Keane just shouts at players. There is a reason neither are currently managing.

Yes I miss 002 knowledge, His arrogance and the sharkopods

But I don't miss the numerous requests for player detail profile.

{Ed025's Note - he was not really a big fan of Chelsea RDF or of football in general, he did have connections at the club though and knew a lot of people in the higher echelons of the game mate, a big loss to the site..

Rashford and Garnacho to villa singing

Oh brother, we'll go deeper than the ink
Beneath the skin of our tattoos
Though we don't share the same blood
You're my brother and I love you that's the truth.

We're hoping for better lives
only Emre knows
He said will bring us back with all our pictures and our clothes
Five goals twenty assists doing all we can to please
Just give me back my car keys

If I was dying on my knees, I've got a brother from another mother

Then the boos for lazy attitude start.

My money is on a 2-1 win. City will be out the blocks fast and go in front early and we will gradually get back in the game before a late winner.

I'm sorry but I agree 100% with Gnev2.

I have watched the games lime everyone else and always believed he was fixing games. My family still argue to this day that one of the goals he could of saved by lifting his right peg 6 inches of the ground. If Stephen Lee can ve found match fixing for keeping 3 balls out of the pocket surely Onana was allegedly match fixing for his horrible attempt to look like he was doing his best.
