Serious questions.
If we get rid of amorim,
1.who do we bring in?
2. How do you improve this bunch?
3. Where is an achievable finish?
4. Who do you think they will bring in?
I think he will still get time to change things, but if he were to go.
1. Glasner would be my 1st pick, 2nd would be silva. 3rd would be mckenna
2. I think a 433 would suit the team better, pack the midfield out as we seem to get over run most games. You have to fit mainoo into the team and I can't see it in a 2.
3.top 7 if we can string a run together.
4. You just know its going to be southgate.
{Ed001's Note - surely Iraola has to be the best option?}

Eddie Howe is my first choice. He will get the most out of the players. He has history of improving players.
Have to change to a 4-3-2-1.
Keeper
Maz
Yoro
De Ligt
Dorgu
Cas
Mainoo
Bruno
Mbeumo
Sesko
Cunha
Still think mid table is the most any new boss could achieve this season. The board will leave getting rid of RA too late.

1. Based on his statistics, pretty much most managers would probably do a better job. But I think Ed is spot on with Iraola. Wildcard would be Nuno.
2. Agree - there's a reason most top teams play 433.
3. Top 8 if we get rid of RA before October and the damage isn't irreversible.
4. Now Ashworth has left, I don't think Southgate is in the running. Wouldn't be surprised if they did something stupid like bring Ole or Jose back.

Iraola for me, glasner a good shout too. Writing on the wall for RA. No improvement, players looking worse and he persists with the same thing.

Either Iraola or Glasner
Absolutely sick of the players
There gutless the lot of em.

I think unai emery from villa. forget where villa are today he has a good track record improves players and a good tactician. i think sjr could sell him a vision. be the man to get utd top 8.top6 . top 4 playing decent football and take it from there.

Iraola or Glastner to bring Wharton and Guehi with him.

I’d be with Emery too. I think an older head needs to take this job first whilst we have the “new” owners. Honestly, could go far worse than Jose. At least he has tactics and tweaks when needed, not can we score even fewer goals if he returned and added some backbone to this side.

1. Iraola. Bournemouth lost 3 of their first-choice defenders in the summer, but he already has their replacements singing to his hymn sheet. They've made a decent early start and are 4th in the table - after a summer of being swooped upon by the big boys, he's proven the merit to his worth.
2. To start with, 4-3-3/ 4-3-2-1.
I've been waiting for the 3-4-3 to click and work out, but it's clearly not. The first question would be - which CBs get the nod? For me, I'd move Yoro to LCB, partnered with De Ligt. Maz and Dorgu both walk into the FB positions. A midfield 3 can accommodate (temporarily) Cas, Mainoo and Fernandes. The front 3 picks itself.
3. Top half.
4. Struber.

Iraola would be my shout.
I’d prefer Amorim to give 4231 a go first.
And would like him to get until after the Spurs game.

Iraola, Howe, glasner or Emery. Either way Amorim isn't good enough.

Wow. overreaction much.
15 Sep 2025 06:23:57
Eddie Howe.

Eddie howe, knows the culture, understands lower leagues and expectations. Wouldn’t go to Grimsby and get outplayed.
Eddie howe.

I think ed001 might agree with me here but I don't think glasner is that much better than amorim tactically and he also has the problem of been a horrible person.
Andoni iraloa is the man I think that could bring us forward to the next level.
{Ed001's Note - Glasner is a bit defensive minded as well, all sit deep, absorb pressure and hit on the counter, similar to Mourinho. Iraola is the outstanding candidate.}
