Hojlund is such a big loss and at a time when a little momentum was building.
I agree with putting Scott up top, and leaving Rashford and Garnacho where they are. McTominay used to be a striker and he’s not afraid of putting some yards in. Put Rashford up top and we have to drop 15 yards because he doesn’t know how to press.

I prefer a 1 for 1 swap.

I read recently that amad was being considered for a central role.
But I do think it will be mctom.
But we do know how eth is a big Antony fan so he might get another opportunity to play.
No recognised lb and no recognised striker it will be tough day. Great opportunity for others to step up.

Great idea, always see him as a striker if anything. His movement and positioning is superb. He almost gets in the way of Rasmus sometimes. He has the physical presence and could be a threat. Only my opinion.

I think the important thing is to try and have minimum disruption to the set up. McTominay makes sense for me with Rashford Left and Garnacho Right. But if Antony was to play and you can see it happening, I’d be inclined to throw him in through the middle and just tell him to be busy and get shots off. I just don’t think Rashford offers anything through the middle and attitude wise I don’t think he seems like he wants to.

McTominay has never been a striker, even in the academy. He himself said that he only played one game as a striker and didn't understand why people were saying he used to be one.
I'd stick Rashford upfront and bring on either Forson or Amad on the right.

Again all opinions and hot air. Are Mainoo, Garnacho and Hojlund going backwards? I don’t think so. But that is just my opinion. I have nothing to measure it against, and nor do you.
I’m still of the opinion that we have many players that need to go before the manager. It’s like Groundhog Day with these players. They eventually down tools and the manager is sacrificed. It’s no coincidence that Ole lasted longer than most, as he had such low standards himself and the players got away with it under him, because he wanted to be their mate. Managers with higher standards who demand more from the players are eventually moved on.
So who comes in next? Tuchel if he leaves Bayern? Isn’t he another disciplinarian that this same group of players will eventually throw under the bus?

Eazza it's not my opinion wth is an Antony fan it's fact. He signed him for united and ajax no doubt he is a fan spoke glowing about him yesterday.

The elects I like about eth is his discipline.
No garnacjo has not improved 1 iota since coming in last season imo.
Mainoo has not improved either but it's too short a time.
Rasmus too short a time.
I believe if he has them long enough he might not improve them at all.
Rasmus was making the same runs 6 months ago you said so yourself.

Not sure at all who comes in next. I'll leave that to the experts. Whomever it is like eth will get my full support until it becomes as obvious as now that we are going backwards.
Results are worse than last season
We are scoring less goals
Conceefing more
Getting less points
Doing worse in cup comps
Spent a fortune in Summer again
Playing players badly out of form.
Awful to watch
No obvious style of play.
Lost a record no of epl games.
Players defy him publicly and he does nothing .
They defy him on the pitch ( he has said it himself)
Not 1 player has improved under him.
I don't care who the manager is and I won't prejudge any of them.
Judge them in what they do and eth is not doing anything I like to see.
In the end I think you will also want him fine. He is in the slippery slot and they're is no coming back from it.
