Garnacho to Al-Hilal courtesy of the Express.
Where do they get these wild fantasies from.
Unless of course there is truth to this. Eds‽.
{Ed002's Note - Alejandro Garnacho (LW) Agent was looking to move on Garnacho and Patino after demanding game time from both Manchester United and Arsenal last summer. Garnacho was offered to Real Madrid knowing that Vinicius Junior may move on, but I am not convinced he would be a regular there. Juventus have also been offered to player as they too seek a LW replacement but I can't see they would bite. Mr Emanalo is looking to recriut younger players for Saudi Arabia and has Garnacho on the list for Al-Hilal. Manchester United will resist and he had a good season and will stay where he is.}

That's good to hear!

I’d let him go if the offer is big enough. He’s going to move to Real Madrid at some point over the next few seasons anyway, and they’ll presumably offer a lot less than the Saudis do.

Yeah good idea that get rid of one of our best players to Saudi ?.

If letting Garnacho go gives us the funds to sign two first team players, I’d bite their hand off. Would much rather have two players who will give us 5-10 years of service than one who will probably be gone in two years.
If he is one of our best players, that’s more down to the lack of quality at the club right now than him being amazing. Don’t get me wrong, I think he definitely has the potential to become a top player, but can see him leaving long before that happens (assuming it ever does) .

Or redseven we might build a squad around him, Mainoo etc.

Very good player. I wouldn't be selling him at the moment if it was up to me.
I agree that if he does improve (and he needs to) he won't be here for the long term.
As of now he is one of our core players imo so best to see if he does continue to develop and improve.
I like his attitude personally so no way I'd be selling at this juncture. Looks like we are getting a couple of new coaches which are badly needed. Our players have not developed very much at all over the past few years so I think that's a good thing. Either eth realised this himself or it was put to him and getting good coaches in will help in that regard.

I think Garnacho's been one of our few positives in recent years. Probably scored one of my favourite ever Utd goals too with that worldy bicycle kick. But I personally don't think he's indispensable or unsellable if a silly bid came in. He's got a way to go but definitely has the traits to make the next step up.
If Garnacho or Rashford left I think Mitoma would be a great upgrade for that side.

I think every player has a price and if someone paid that price you sell. It is the same for any of our players and it's probably true for most teams and under these financial rules even more so.
If every team is restricted financially, then if you feel the fee you get for a player is such that it allows you to be able to make moves that will improve the team overall then making that move is the sensible decision.

Certain players at bigger clubs are never for sale unless they ask for a move. Garnacho and Mainoo fall into that category imo. The runway for both is who knows. They are still developing and by what I hear big fans of eth and its just click bait stuff to create news.
Hoiland even though they lost had a better game yesterday and showed glimpses of stuff that hopefully keeps coming. In a way glad they are out and he gets a rest before the season starts.

Sounds like his agent is shopping him around, presumably at his request. If Al Nasr came in with a huge offer I suspect it would suit all parties. Garnacho gets to play with his idol for a few more years before moving to Madrid and we get the money needed to sort out our midfield.
