I think Casemero being out will help to be honest, get Mainoo in there with Armabat and Bruno, with wingers working up and down, first step has to be solid in the centre of the pitch.

as long as we manage Mainoo integration properly. Overplaying him can have terrible long term implications for his career. Very few player are like Rooney at 18. Hope eth is careful with this kid and protects him.

Mainoo is a decent young prospect, but he seems to have already earned legend status in some quarters which is probably as dangerous as over-playing him at this point!

The clear tactic not to cross the ball needs to change to make any difference. United were famed for their wingers yet ETH has inverted them.

He will get an assist and a goal. Get dropped for the CL and sign for City in January.
Okay I jest but that is how the club seems to operate at the moment.
Personally I hope we are winning comfortably and he comes on for some valuable minutes. Same for CL. Then starts against Luton to give him more leg time.
Hopefully then we get players back off the treatment table and he integrates into the full squad with regular game time or that City link could become reality!

We’ve played with inverted wingers for years it wasn’t ETH that ‘inverted them’. For years we had Juan Mata on the right who hadn’t taken on a player for 5 years.
Can’t wait for a Kobbie to get his chance.

The city link came from a guy on X who has 200 followers. The guy signed a 4+1 year contract in February, if City want him they can offer £400m and we might accept.

I can blame ETH for keep playing Rashford regardless of how he plays. I can blame ETH for appearing to force the purchase of Antony. I can blame ETH for what appears a clear tactic of not crossing the ball, going back inside slowly, something Ole was damned for. Wonder what the crossing stats are like over the last few managers. Our goals scored is a disgrace, tactics are negative. ETH needs to be more aggressive with tactics. Cross the bloody ball.

Maguire, DVB, Martial would disagree with that statement or they would be gone by now.
He is a United boy by all accounts and about to break in at 18. If as advertised he is that special we could be looking at someone who is here for the next 10 to 15 years.
Robbo who is my fav united player played for a club for many years who did not win much but that never swayed him to move elsewhere.
I know the club is a circus atm but its still United.

But regardless. Contracts mean absolutely nothing. Money talks.
There are players and managers who are moving constantly regardless of their contracts. Maguire would be gone if we could shift him. DVB, Martial as well. If they wanted to leave then they would be gone. Contract or not.
Any player with a contract can move if they so desire.
If any team were to come in with 100m for some of our players we would snap their hand off regardless of contract and don’t fool yourself otherwise!

Of course FIFA article 13 states it has to be mutual but that’s just lip service.
