It's took a bit patience but how good does martial look this season so far. He's got true game changing ability . If he continues like this he could turn out to be a snip at the price and lvg correct in saying he was a gift to future managers.

He looks up for it this year, a few have said he will never be a top player but for me he is more talented than rash (both top young players ) .
Going to be a very good player imo.

Martial looked class last night, end product/ finishing still needs a lot of work, but he looked on a different level to the rest.
Mata and Lingard looked amazing last night and that doesn't happen too often either (they looked lightening fast at times) . So I think the weakness of the opposition needs to be considered in fairness, because all of our attackers looked like Maradonna in the playground.
Rashford finished very well, which was a great plus after his poor display at the weekend. Glad to see he can move on from a bad performance and not dwell on it.
First half was what I want to see more often. You could tell when Jose switched to 3 at the back for the 2nd half we lost that extra attacking man and the game tightened up with less options for the defence or midfield to find with a forward ball - went boring again - not sure why he did this, it would have been a cricket score the way it was going and Shaw could have easily come straight in for Blind. We looked good still but that was because our attackers could run past 2-3 defenders with ease, doesn't happen in the league of course and I don't understand why he tried this tactic when it was obvious what would happen with it.
Really enjoyed the first half and great for the confidence. Lindelof looked a concern even against that rabble (especially on the ball and in the air) and Blind still looked like he was running up Mount Everest, he literally brings nothing but a body to the table, especially when we have a decent holding midfielder that can find a pass.
Shaw looked overweight and reluctant to sprint backwards at times as well, I can see why he annoys Jose as he just doesn't seem to have a footballing brain at all - first game back you can forgive a lot of things, but I think he has a long way to go still unfortunately. Shame as LB is a vital position and we are just carrying LB's whoever plays there, Young looks ok but against a proper winger he will struggle.

Not sure why Martial was ever doubted, the lads got it all. Rashford is also top quality but Martial has a higher ceiling. It would be criminal to lose him.
Beast, agree on both Shaw and Blind. Have said for some time now Shaw will not fulfil his potential, he will be gone in the summer. Blind offers nothing. Utility squad player at best.

I think martials off pitch problems affected him a lot last season hence he struggled. This season he seems to have got his head right.
I think he's got more natural talent than rashford but rashford is mentally stronger.

I rate both martial and rashford highly, my personal opinion is martial the better player cutting in from the left but rashford the better striker but I like both in either position, with lukaku martial and rash I think the left side and central areas are well covered and we look really strong . I'd still be interested in seeing rash move right and see them all in the same team . Mata looked good last night to but maybe that was a combo of poor opposition and playing more central.

Great player. Unfortunately had issues last year but looks to be really trying his all. He is extremely talented. Great to see him play so well. Long may it continue.
I just want to see shaw apply himself in the same way!

He looks well up for It although I thought he was falling into Rashford's trap of trying too hard last night. If our front players are 'happy' to be rotated or rested then we are developing a great forward line. I know it was only Burton but Lingard was also excellent.

People keep. saying it was only Burton but we've seen many times big teams underestimate or disrespect smaller teams and get knocked out. We approached last night professionally, respected Burton and played well. A game like that with that performance is a good confidence booster. Not that we needed one. But it'll certainly give the likes of martial an rashford more confidence going into other games.
