So here we go, cue panic buying. Liverpool and Chelsea look to be ready to splash the cash although if Chelsea do sign Barkley, Ox, and Drinkwater then I don't think that strengthens their first 11.
It's in these last few days that clubs think about if it is really worth keeping unhappy players such as VVD, and Coutinho.

VVD will add to most teams he is a great defender and exactly what City or Liverpool need. The others will as Ed 2 said give greater strength in depth which is essential for teams competing on several fronts. It enables managers to rest their elite players in readiness for the season defining matches.

If liverpool sign VVD and lemar then surely they will be challenging for the title, also keita to arrive next summer will be a great signining for them.

Liverpool need lemar as much as city need Sanchez. You'd think Flopp would be looking at plugging his defence.

I think VvD is so overrated, we've a fantastic squad as it is, am not worried at all, would've been nice to have Griezmann in of course and Sanchez would also be great but I'm not too concerned if VvD, Lemar, Ox and Barkley go to our rivals tbh.

Personally i think drinkwater will improve Chelsea. He had a fantastic in fact league winning parnership with kante.
I also think ox is at least as good as moses.
