Lingard is pants apparently, I thought he was excellent tonight. Rashford had a frustrating night but never stopped running, kept his head up, and scored the winner. Blind is nothing more than a squad player but tonight he was very very good. Pogba look clime the player we wanted when we spent a world record fee. Romero is nothing more than a back up but what a save.
I can be as critical as anyone but I am fed up of people Monsignor needlessly. If we win the Europa having won the League Cup then that is a good start for Jose.

Shahram, I rh o too many get wrapped up in a specific moment (I sometimes do) when you need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. The Europa will make all the difference to making this a good or bad season.

I monsignored needlessly once. Nearly ruined the ambassador's ball. Luckily I had some ferrero roche and that smoothed everything out fine.

We were very solid tonight. Rash worked really hard and showed us flashes of brilliance and all the errors you expect at his age.
Pogba was also good tonight and looked strong.
Lots of others put in good solid 7.5 to 8 out of 10 performances.
A win next Thurs will give us a final to win a prestigious trophy that we have never won and that precious champions league place.

A decent performance away from home in Europe, some very good individual displays (Pogba shone) a few anonymous ones as well (Miki again in particular) . I expect us to smash them in the second leg, hopefully Jose will realise the league game should not be sacrificed as Vigo are not going to pose much of a threat next week.

Beast you keep telling us how crap we are how cheap the players are and how cheap the manager is then in the same breath tell us most weeks we should smash everybody. That's a bit of a contradiction or does it just give you a bigger platform to moan on when we don't smash teams. 😂.

LIbgard needs to stay behind after a school to work on his finishing - if he gets that part right more consistently he's got a great future with us. Pog was great too. Big shout out to Blind. I know I said time to leave, but he rreally is solid at he back.

Yeah Ken but we should be smashing quite a few teams, especially Vigo who would struggle to play in the Premier League. We have played a lot of poor teams in cup matches this season, Europa League has been very kind, we should have racked up some big scores in a lot of those games but failed to do so more often than not, down to negative cagey tactics and poor finishing.
This is probably why it seems I say it a lot, because most weeks we play against teams that we outclass in every department on paper. I like doing the "how many of the opposition would we sign and play" if the answer is 'zero' then we should be whooping them in all honesty.
If we had been a little bit more "ambitious" last night we could have won that 3 or 4-0 quite comfortably putting the game to bed. As it happens I think we will destroy them next week as we outclass them and they looked intimidated at home, us at home should be a breeze.

i think you only saw the scoreline Beast and not the game. We had so many chances to put the game to bed. Mkhi couldn't score, Lingard had 3 gilt edge chances that he didn't do anything with. So if you convert those, that's 5-0. What more adventure do you want. It is the players again that have been misfiring.

We should have won convincingly of course, but always excuses as to why we didn't Shan. Shoulda, woulda, coulda.
Yes we fail to take the chances we created just like all season it's a big problem. One solution is to be more clinical which we are struggling with for some reason and I hope is being worked on, another is to create More chances so we increase our odds of scoring - plus you have the bonus of players getting better at finishing the more practice they have in high pressure environments!
It seems like we used up all our luck with LVG when it came to scoring from virtually every chance we created.
I expect us to be a little more willing to commit men forward when the opponents offer very little attacking wise and show more ambition to try and hammer teams that deserve a hammering, nothing wrong with that, we should all want and expect that from our team.

Under performing players, team and manager pal . At the moment
But I'm sick of hearing how poor our very expensive very well payed squad of full internationals are .
Until we win a game then there ok again, they will all be crap if we draw at the weekend .
We looked ok last night had a good 11 out and only had players like martial, ddg and mata on the bench last night .
Jones shaw zlatan injured .
