Liverpool fan in peace don't shoot. I watched the game tonight and just want to get united fans opinion on a couple things. you guys really should of won this one 5-6 nil, but the finishing was abysmal.

Do you guys think the Pogba injury could be a blessing? pulls him out the limelight without Jose destroying his confidence dropping him. I think you will play better without him.

final question, are you guys not getting a bit bored with some of the comments Jose is coming out with? End of the game tonight he kept spouting on about enemies everybody is a enemy.

it might just be me but I'm finding it makes me cringe reading some of the stuff he comes out with.

Agree3 Disagree8

Kloppers i find it highly amusing that a liverpool fan, especially one using klopp's name as username moaning about mourinho. I doubt you found it cringe worthy when klopp was crying about utd offside goal every chance he got for a month or so after it happened. People in glass houses come to mind.

17 Mar 2017 06:21:33
Kloppers as I am a non biased individual I have to say I agree with you on all accounts. I hope this will be a blessing in disguise regarding Pogba and if the team perks up a little while he is no in the starting line up it might bring a competitiveness in him that I am yet to see.

In regards to Jose I commented a while back about the bull crap that was coming out of his mouth at times. I disliked it when he was at Chelsea but there was at least some humor then. Now the press conferences are boring and some of the stuff coming out his mouth is why he wasn't my first choice for the post as it is embarrassing.

Pogba' injury isn't a blessing in disguise, it's a bang obvious good thing.

He's been woeful but undroppable. He was at it again last night; turning back into trouble, taking 8 times as many touches as he needs to, shooting from 40 years.

Hopefully this gives him some time to settle is mind and think about what he's doing wrong.

Currently The Wig brings more to the team and should be starting ahead of PP, and that's something I never dreamed of saying at the start of the season.

17 Mar 2017 08:27:05
How can his injury be a good thing, combined with Herrera's suspension that means we will have a midfield of Carrick and Fellaini for the next two league games.

Hardly fills me with confidence.

I was always skeptical of Mourinho in the first place because he is known to act like this. I was told he would change for United. Obviously he hasn't. But he is our manager and I will continue to back him, like I said this behaviour is hardly out of the blue.

As for beating teams like Rostov 5 or 6 nil, I think football has moved on. Bayern are currently a far better team than us and they lost to them in Russia and didn't thrash them in Germany. Last night their farthest forward player all night was just the other side of the half way line. There was very little space to work in. Although I agree our attack hasn't been very good this year, if Zlatan doesn't do it no one does. Everything seems like it has to run through him, I don't know if that is under instruction from Jose or because the players are in awe of him.

Our attack looks slow, predictable, one dimensional and inconsistent. Which are all adjectives you could use to describe Zlatan at times this season.

Pogba has been a bit of a disappointment this season and hopefully a bit of a lay off might make him open his eyes a little. Not his fault the club paid what they did for him but a little humility and bit more hard work might begin to see the fans that are questioning his signature get on side.

17 Mar 2017 08:40:28
Shappy out of interest who 'told you' that Mourinho would change for United? He will always be the same.

As for beating a team like Rostov 5-0 etc I would argue football hasn't really moved on that much. It all depends on the coaches tactics. Earlier this season Barcelona smashed Celtic what was it 7/ 8-1? And I would argue they are better than Rostov.

It all depends on the managers philosophy and unfortunately for United Jose's philosophy is win small and grind away.

Maze, many people came on here last season when it became obvious that Mourinho was likely to be our next manager. At that time I stated I wasn't keen on him for three reasons, first was his apparent lack of faith in young players, second for his often negative tactics and third for his often bazaar and disrespectful behaviour.

At that time many people came on here to tell me he would change his tactics and behaviour for our club, that he would embrace our traditions such as youth and attacking philosophy while also be respectful and to not bring the name of the club into disrepute. That he would change for United because it was his dream job. I disagreed at the time and 7 months on it looks like I was right.

The club are still in a far better position than before and I can see the progress and there for I will continue to back him. I've just learned to turn a blind eye to all the stuff which I said was likely to happen as it's hardly anything new.

As for Barcelona thumping Celtic, they are two different teams with a different mentally. Barcelona have arguably the best front three ever, where as we don't even have a settled front line, one which often has young inexperienced players in it. Celtic as a club never go into a game considering themselves as underdog's, they set up to try and beat every team they play, that does leave them more open at the back as a result. Rostov are 7th in their league, which is a poor one. They had the mentality of trying to not get beaten.

Celtic never played with 10/ 11 men behind the ball, Rostov did.

Like I said Bayern lost to Rostov in Russia.

Put maze in charge. He'd be all sunshine and light as manager. His press conferences would be full of smiles and banter. He wouldn't single out players negatively in public. I'd be waiting in anticipation for his press conferences for his unbiased pro United, all in together stance and be frothing at the mouth Maze to brighten up my day as I knew there would be some revolutionary stuff played over the weekend. They'd be playing out of love for him and we'd all be in the crowd (well maybe me streaming for free online, but still chanting his name) singing Maze give a wave every 5 minutes, just for a sunbeam of hope and potential glory days returning.

17 Mar 2017 10:56:42
MAZE. As with all people on here, you are heavily biased towards your own opinions.
You are entitled to them. Just don't expect us to agree just because you repeat them so often.
Moaning on here will not change things at club level one iota, but it does get a bit tedious, dare I say boring.
As my English master use to say - it shows a fine command of the English language to say nothing. Having broken his rule, I will stop.

17 Mar 2017 11:57:32
Supa, lmao think iv just pissed myself.

17 Mar 2017 12:02:55
Maze as usual you are talking BS, celtic are no where near as tactically good as rostov especially with the ex-liverpool mug managing them, barring losing to bayern 5-0 in their first ever game in cl they have been very competitive in cl, beat bayern 3-2 in return leg, never losing any game other than that 5-0 by more than 1 goal margin. They are 8th in russian league but have the 2nd best defense in the league.

17 Mar 2017 12:28:46
World class that Supa.

17 Mar 2017 13:00:35
CSM is this the same Celtic who are undefeated in their league and 30 points clear of their major rivals? Rostov v Celtic tomorrow who would win?

17 Mar 2017 13:19:07
maze you are going down the wrong track, celtic may be better man for man than rostov, but it is hell lot harder to beat a team that defends with 10 behind the ball than a team that tries and attacks. Celtic vs utd will end up a lot more than 2-1, they are better than rostov and will core more than 1 goal against us but given their defensive setup they will also concede a lot more than 2 that rostov did. Rostov have throughout the season against all opponents shown that they can defend well and they did the same against us, with a lot of help from our own poor attacking play ofcourse.

17 Mar 2017 13:54:55
Celtic V Bayern who would win? Bayern!

Rostov beat Bayern so none of the above is applicable.

{Ed007's Note - Celtic would comfortably beat Rostov at Celtic Park, we play against teams with 10 men behind the ball every week and there's been a lot of team better than Rostov came to Celtic Park and got a hell of a surprise - Man City this year for example.}

17 Mar 2017 14:04:36
Celtic ruined the Citeh party! :-)

{Ed007's Note - We broke them that night and should have beat them. :(

17 Mar 2017 15:01:22
Yes Bond. a lot of people were Celtic fans that night and were disappointed!

Me for one!

{Ed007's Note - (yes)

17 Mar 2017 19:15:05
Haha supasub cracked me up that 😂.

17 Mar 2017 22:15:39
Pogba will be back first game after the international break. I don't believe it to be serious or even an injury at all.
