15 Nov 2017 14:14:37
Reports today stating fellaini has rejected offers to extend contrqct with us.

Dont normally buy in to the rags news but i wreckon this is probably true.

1.) 15 Nov 2017 14:51:53
why are we trying to get him to extend? he's not good enough for one and he doesn't want to be here for two. few good performances in a red shirt do not mean he's united quality

get rid in jan and bring in goretzka.

2.) 15 Nov 2017 15:29:21
Disagree completely redwhiskey.

Fellaini is very good for the position/ role he plays which is an impact sub and he's proven this time after time especially under jose.

But if he wants to start week in week out then yes, he will have to move on.

3.) 15 Nov 2017 16:03:02
He is 29 he wants to start regularly. It's his last big opportunity to negotiate a last big contract on his terms.
Does he want to be a impact sub here and be a cover player or does he want to get the same or more money at a lesser club or a big club in a lesser league.
He is a very good pro and has shown great attitude and professionalism during his time here and yes he does possess obvious and different attributes to other players but he is not my cup of tea. I respect him as a man and as a professional and jose rates him so i'm indifferent. If the manager wants him In the squad for next season then fine but if the player doesn't want to be here and wants to try something else I won't be disappointed.
Put yourself in his shoes 20 starts and 30 bench appearances at united is the best he can hope for and that's before united sign another midfielder in the summer. He knows he can't command a regular starting position so i would admire him if he chooses to move to Turkey to play weekly and this is his last chance to do that and command huge wages if he goes on a free or nominal fee.

4.) 15 Nov 2017 17:48:59
get real zidane. he was a poor buy and is nothing more than a pump it up option. anti football in my eyes. he is professional and tries hard but that is it. he papers over the cracks with the odd goal. if mourinho rated him so highly he'd be starting. the football were playing at the min is dross enough before bringing that overpaid hairy git on. let him leave for whatever we can get. he's not the answer for anything. if fellaini is the best we can hope for in terms of impact then its no wonder we're a laughing stock at the moment.

5.) 15 Nov 2017 18:48:05
He is no where near United quality, he gives so many fouls away when brought on to impact a game which always seems to break up our play. Personally would have sold a while ago but def take whatever we can get in jan.

6.) 15 Nov 2017 19:04:07
Twenty u need to look at the stats for fellaini and his fouls/ bookings for us over the last 2-3 years.

Sorry gents but IMO he is a positive for UTD if he's happy o be a sub and he obviously isn't happy with that.

7.) 15 Nov 2017 19:42:51
It says it all when we send him on to try and win a game by just lumping it forward for his elbows to give away a foul, I don’t need to look at stats I’ve witnessed with my own eyes on far to many occasions. It was a panic buy, one in which we actually ended up paying more than if we bought him sooner. If we really wanted to him we would have paid the cheaper price a month prior. That move made us look a bit stupid. Do you really think He would get in the Chelsea line up? City? Spurs? No! It was a big mistake from day one.

8.) 15 Nov 2017 19:48:21
Lol whiskey I've been listening how crap fellaini is for ages yet one of the most successful managers in the history of the game loves him, he walks into arguably the most talented individual team in Belgium and gives nothing less than 100 % everytime he puts a united shirt on and has delivered in some very nervy/ important moments for us .

What does this guy along with endless others have to do to be given a little respect from our "fans"? .

9.) 15 Nov 2017 20:00:03
Whiskey u have your opinion and i have mine (the stats on elbows and bookings are fact though) .

There are more than a few people on this site who see the value in him and there are some who dont. As i have said, IMO i would like him to stay.

10.) 15 Nov 2017 20:01:38
DEANo does this most successful manager really rate him? Someone you throw on to try and scrape a result? That’s not rating someone! If I rate someone I play him week in week out a certain starter. Free up the wage bill let him go and get someone better in. I would give 100% if I played for United doesn’t mean I deserve to be at the club.

11.) 15 Nov 2017 20:10:01
Deano - We are seriously low on combative midfielders. Jose was never going to let him go with no time to bring in alternatives. Saying Jose loves him is a bit OTT, he is needed. It's that simple. I'd be very surprised if Jose was managing PSG or anyone for that matter and he gave Fellaini a call. We need Fellaini right now, it that simple.

12.) 15 Nov 2017 21:57:07
In some games you need the physical player to get stuck in.
It's not all about fancy players.
Fellani is good for us in both boxes for set pieces and he as a bit of heart.

13.) 15 Nov 2017 22:44:36
Mourinho clearly rates him as a squad player and I'm fairly sure he probably is better placed to make the call than any of us.

14.) 15 Nov 2017 23:18:25
Exactly leahy and RW.

15.) 15 Nov 2017 23:42:59
Mourinho likes Fellaini as he does what he is told. Is Red Whiskey, Maze? Or a Liverpool supporter? If he mentions, Park the bus, Maureen or Hoofball, then we will know.

16.) 16 Nov 2017 00:04:58
🀣🀣 MAZE has been MIA for a while now even afyer some questionable performances.

17.) 16 Nov 2017 13:56:31
I am a united fan just don't see the point in keeping a player who doesn't wanna be here, is nowhere near good enough and was a terrible buy. i'm entitled to an opinion.

18.) 18 Nov 2017 06:44:38
Some said over here that in some games you need the physical player to get stuck in. I think you have enough physicality in your squad to not be depending on Fellaini :D Arguably the most physical squad in the league.

31 Aug 2017 21:41:10
Mahrez to chelski so willian to utd. would be a good move for us IMO.

08 Jul 2017 13:47:56
Dier is now our new 'latest link'

Is he what we need? And is it even a possibility?

1.) 08 Jul 2017 14:22:38
I reckon Levy won't let it happen or he will prove to be really really not worthy of the transfer fees that we might want to pay for him.

2.) 08 Jul 2017 15:47:12
Won't be surprised to read that I don't rate Dier highly and wouldn't sign him. Poor use of the ball, switches off a lot and is another of those that would bring little to the table that TFM couldn't bring.

We need somebody comfortable on the ball imo, I'd play with Herrera deep and spend the money on Ramsey who will get goals, run all day, link midfield to attack brilliantly and possibly may be available for similar money after a poor season last year (guessing) . I know everyone will think this is stupid so no need to hammer me for that opinion.

Or I'd double up and go for Verrati, Pjanic or Vidal to actually bring some proven world class talent to the team!

3.) 08 Jul 2017 16:23:55
Actually i agree beast.

4.) 08 Jul 2017 16:24:03
Got to hammer you for suggesting injured all the time Ramsey.

5.) 08 Jul 2017 17:04:08
Beast none of those worldclass talents are cdm's.

6.) 08 Jul 2017 17:18:55
As a spurs fan it's interesting to read your thoughts on dier. Completely way off is probably the kindest thing to say, if you were to chat with a proper fan he'd tell you just as I would. He's our lynch pin. He's better than wanyama, better passer of the ball, a better tackler and reads the game better. Diers downfall is his versatility. He's covered both centre backs, covered walker at times, played as a three at the back and that was just last season, the season before when he played solely as a cdm he was immense! He is in fact a brilliant cdm. He allows dembele to drive forward more. We know he won't be going anywhere in the foreseeable future. But you guys have got it completely wrong about dier.

7.) 08 Jul 2017 18:46:09
Herrera is not suited to the deep role no chance.

8.) 08 Jul 2017 18:55:48
Sorry Beast, but that would be a chronic waste of Herrera. He offers everything Ramsey does in that role (well, fewer goals maybe but creates more chances too) and still wins the ball a lot.

Herrera as cdm is a useful option, but we really should be looking for a specialist there too free Herrera up.

An older cdm, who can hold the position for 2-3 years as TFM matures in an understudy role would be perfect IMO.

9.) 08 Jul 2017 20:48:41
Herrera has played the deep role very well this year.
These days you need a play maker in that role imo Carrick has been excellent there over the years.

10.) 08 Jul 2017 20:52:18
An older cdm. someone who knows the league, and would allow pogba and Herrera to play. if only someone like that was on our radar. Still, if they were, they'd probably be dismissed as a Chelsea reject anyway.

11.) 08 Jul 2017 21:59:27
Herrara is a fantastic player but is entering the final year of his contract. Would be delighted to see that sorted asap!

12.) 08 Jul 2017 22:26:43
Agree with beast, don't rate hi at all and don't want him. he is 5 yards sideway passer and levy and keep him. the weakest link in spurs midfield imo.

13.) 08 Jul 2017 22:35:23
Ive seen that me may also steal bakayoko from chealsea any opinions I don't really believe this but what do people think.

14.) 09 Jul 2017 00:44:31
Weakest link in our midfield x files? lol that's just being silly!

15.) 09 Jul 2017 12:16:32

He is Spurs weak link and who do play him instead off in our midfield?

He is grossly overrated like most young English players.

16.) 10 Jul 2017 13:06:38
He is NOT our weakest link at all, I see him nearly every week. I take it you don't? Thought so! He makes us tick absolutely solid.

17 Aug 2016 18:07:08
Southampton have said that fonte is going nowhere! Interview with sly sports.

1.) 17 Aug 2016 18:25:51
That's usually code for 'we want more money'

2.) 17 Aug 2016 18:58:40
Yep! let's just gy manolas!

3.) 18 Aug 2016 07:25:23
I belive font would give us decent cover at the back. Also reports suggesting that we may be in for Fabhino, Never seen him play if I'm honest. just hope it does not put TBH way down the pecking order.

01 Jul 2018 21:28:06
Kasper Schmeichel - u little beauty! Get in.

30 Jun 2018 16:55:47
And that's it for the argies!

Brilliant result 😁.

1.) 30 Jun 2018 20:17:15
Some top defending there from rojo.
Who actually from United whether a scout or manager and said right this fellow is a top defender, sign him for United
Schoolboy defending it was.
I'd give him away free and pay his wages for 12 months.
Rojo. blind. young. smalling. jones. valencia. Some top quality there.
If we don't sort out that defence we won't be winni g anything for a while, No matter what midfield or forwards we have.

2.) 30 Jun 2018 21:18:44
I said all last season that the defence is the issue. Unfortunately looks like it may remain a problem.

3.) 01 Jul 2018 11:30:10
Look no further than Godin or the kid Gimenz next to him. assured controlled aggression, no diving in, commanding in the air, organising those around them.

4.) 02 Jul 2018 02:11:57
At least we know France will be too much of a match for england too lol.

30 Jun 2018 16:53:34
Who is the fellaini guy that we have signed on a 2 year deal - 100k a week wages?

1.) 30 Jun 2018 17:03:54
Like a new signing.

2.) 30 Jun 2018 17:11:32
best signing of the window!

24 Jun 2018 13:26:18
Jessie is getting a mauling at the moment.

Hes handling it brilliantly aswell.

1.) 24 Jun 2018 13:41:54
Best player on pitch for me so far. But I'd rather shaqiri.

2.) 24 Jun 2018 13:43:39
Absolutely jred!

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ gone fishing.

3.) 24 Jun 2018 13:44:26
Arrrrggghh angel i meant. we just won another penalty so i'm distracted.

4.) 24 Jun 2018 14:01:51
Jessie, lukkaku, doing well if only we had a manager to play to their strengths.

5.) 24 Jun 2018 14:36:21
Yeah Jessie and lukaku were crap for us last year. If only.

6.) 24 Jun 2018 14:50:33
Lol but shaqiri only plays for stoke and that how u rate a player.

7.) 24 Jun 2018 14:55:00
They could have done a lot better
Did we win something that I don't know about.
Oh wait we came second that's great.

8.) 24 Jun 2018 15:26:26
Jred nobody said we shouldn't sign Shaqiri because he plays for stoke. We said we shouldn't sign shaqiri because of a) his attitude and b) because he hasn't lived up to his potential and hasn't played well at any of his last 3 clubs.

We're supposed to be making top signings to get back to the top of the game. Not making signings consisting of players who are past it or serial underachievers. We've had enough of those over the last few years.

9.) 24 Jun 2018 15:44:21

10.) 24 Jun 2018 15:50:37
That's the reality of it there mort.
Good post.

11.) 24 Jun 2018 16:24:40
Thanks Leahy. I expect a certain amount of world cup fever. But some of those mentioned recently such as Shaqiri or Wilshire I fail to see how they would improve us.

12.) 24 Jun 2018 16:32:25
Unlike dalot, .
Did anyone mention signing shaqiri?

Notice people want us to sign Lorenzo after 2 WC games.

13.) 24 Jun 2018 16:52:18
You mean Leronzo Peregrini or Hirving Lozano, jred? If its the later, He did well with Psv and he is attracting interest from some big clubs.

14.) 24 Jun 2018 16:56:05
Dalot is supposedly one of the best full backs in Europe, won European championship under age with Portugal
The boy likes to attack,
Will he make it at United, who knows but the boy has huge potential.

15.) 24 Jun 2018 17:09:04
Jred's still pissed Rooney has gone.

16.) 24 Jun 2018 17:10:42
Wow you've really got it in for Dalot. Didn't someone say recently back the players.

17.) 24 Jun 2018 17:34:19
Dalot's great with his left and right foot. Strong in the air. Excellent contribution in attack and solid in defence.

You really could say he's got Dalot.

I'll get my coat.

18.) 24 Jun 2018 17:44:44
He has it in for anybody new. If he had his way we would still be playing steve coppel and lou macari. Best to ignore it really.

19.) 24 Jun 2018 17:58:02
I'm trying to work out how you and others don't rate international players but get wet over players you have never seen .

Red tinted.

20.) 24 Jun 2018 18:00:31
Dalot is one of the best full backs in Europe.
After 6 league games?
Says it all.

21.) 24 Jun 2018 18:02:13
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚Ken and singπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

22.) 24 Jun 2018 18:24:34
Why are we comparing Shaqiri to lingard? Jesse is a marauding midfielder and he does that brilliantly. Shaqiri is a right winger who has played in lesser teams. If he's available at a decent price, then it'll make sense to buy him as we should be looking to buy a wide man for the right side.
He'll offer a good alternative to Mata being played there.
And if people can't see our lack of width hurting us, then god help us.

23.) 24 Jun 2018 18:52:26
One of the best young full backs i meant to say jred. So the pkint is he should have potential now who knows but we can give him a chance.

24.) 24 Jun 2018 19:03:35
If shaqiri was that good he would still be at byern.

Average player for an average team

There should be no debate on here about him.

25.) 24 Jun 2018 20:16:39
Getting wet? How old are you?

All I've said re Dalot is that its good we're moving back to a tradition of signing unknown youngsters and I hope he settles quick, challenges for a starting spot and makes the position his.

Dont rate international players? I think I've said plenty of times I don't rate players based on a couple of games at a world cup. I've also clearly explained several times my reasons for not rating Shaqiri but as usual you cherry pick what you want from peoples comments and ignore the rest. I am now thinking you just post to cause arguments.

26.) 24 Jun 2018 20:19:48
AAA I think most of us have said all season that we need a proper right winger. However its my personal opinion that that player is not Shaqiri. I don't see what he would add after getting bombed out of two big clubs and swanning around in stoke looking half arsed in a relegation battle. Clearly he lacks the mental aptitude to succeed at big clubs and we have enough like that already.

27.) 24 Jun 2018 20:34:39
Spot on mort. He is just a wind up merchant.

28.) 24 Jun 2018 22:17:24
Mort. I understand where you're coming from, but if it means getting him or no one else, then I'll get him. We really lack width on both flanks as i don't subscribe to the theory that Rashford or Martial can play as wingers. On the right side, we have no width at all. So our team is very predictable.
Lets see what mourinho does in the transfer market.

15 Jun 2018 05:54:53
Just read that rashford has a slight knee injury and has misse the first 2 training sessions with england.

Played well so far. Gutted for him if its true as he will miss the first match.

And from a footy fans perspective, i'd rather him than sterling in the 10 role.

{Ed001's Note - he is back fit mate.}

1.) 15 Jun 2018 07:26:43
Cheers ed 😁

Just out of interest ed, who do u fancy to Win the WC?

{Ed001's Note - has to be Brazil that is favourite.}

2.) 15 Jun 2018 08:11:34
Dont think rash will start ezrs anyhow.

I realise there are FAR more qualified world class managers on here but still, jose is a decent sunday league manager.
