As WRD mentioned Rooney is now suspended for the Everton game so Pogba should slot into the space. The other option would be to start rashford and push Ibra back in there, but I can't see Mourinho leaving Pogba out and rooney suspention makes the situation so much easier for Mourinho. Carrick has to start, as we look so much better with him in the team although i can't wait to see Miki play again. His vision, movement and passing is excellent. Once he scores one i think he will start banging them in to.

Just doesn't work playing Pogba in a defensive 2, he's at a 10 or left of 3, Rooney is a 10 or up top, mata is a 10, going forward in the 4231 Jose likes to play I cannot see for us to have the right balance, especially seeing how well last night went, how Pogba, Rooney and Mata can play in the same team.

he played in4231 last thursday done ok .
truth is he has played a few position this season and its not made a big difference so i'm not sure i buy in to this he has to play x y or z.
no reason at all why he can't play as a cm.

He needs to up his workrate and movement off the ball, otherwise we will always struggle for outlets. The swagger should come after you perform, he has done nothing yet and should be on the bench this weekend if Carrick is able to play.

That was feyenoord tho with all due respect we should be beating them with our second string. If you look at last night, it was very well balanced, Pogba isn't a deep midfielder for me he's proven that with abject performances there, he's at his best linking with Zlatan further up, mata been playing well but not a right winger so for me they don't fit, Pogba/ mata/ Rooney at 10 not shoehorn them all in everywhere at the expense of a carrick or miki and martial who have found form.

Get off the boys back he's just come back to the club with a huge weight of expectations because of a frankly ridiculous fee which isn't his fault at all. Expecting magic any time he's on the ball is unfair to him. Besides just like the team he's been improving of late. Some of us have no patience at all for anything.
