Who’s for a Portuguese summer? A total not happening but we’ve got some links and I’d think this would be kinda of funny.
GK: Costa - not sure he’s better than Onana but there’s links for a long time.
RCB: Silva - seems the top target now Scalvini is injured.
LCB: Ignacio - I’m pretty sure Utd are briefing Ignacio release clause to get the Branthwaite price down but a legitimate alternative.
DM: Paulinha - would be great.
CM: Neves - Bid rejected briefing is to appease fans. I think this and Silva are on.
CF: João Felix - Greenwood swap.
I’d happily have Cancelo too.

Some good calls there Utd Road, I watched quite a few Benfica matches last season knowing how strongly we were linked with Silva and Neves.
Really hope we sign Antonio Silva, think he is a superb prospect and would be my No 1 choice for the summer, will be expensive but worth it.
He seems to have all the qualities needed to be a top centre back, his main attribute being his positional sense, he is always in the right place at the right time.
You mention Paulinha, guessing you are referring to Joao Palhinha of Fulham, excellent player, but are we not supposedly only going for players under 25 and he is 28.
Joao Neves, again I think he would be an excellent signing, a bit younger than Silva at 19 but has already been voted midfield player of the month 5 times in Primeira Liga. I know Shappy thinks that him and Kobbie are too young to play together, but I think they are both significant talents and would be a perfect partnership for quite a few years.
Have to say my dream summer would be Silva, Neves and Ronald Araujo from Barcelona at centre back. That would cover the centre back and central midfield positions with real quality and longevity as well.
Don't believe it will happen but hey, we all have our dreams.

Well Erik reckons three signings transforms the team. I'd personally improve the spine from CB - CM - CF with three starters. I know we need RW/ LB/ ballboy and everything inbetween but reckon any from the above would fit the bill, even though I feel it'll be too costly. But we don't know the budget or who will leave, and we signed Pogba in an 'off' season out of the CL so who knows.

Spenno, I think that the reality is that without significant outgoings then three signings are about what we can make. Firstly due to the cost, with PSR breathing down our necks we don't have the same freedom to spend like we have in previous years. Secondly, without players leaving then we won't have space for players to come in.
From what I can gather the club are looking at a CB, CM and a CF as the priority to replace Varane/ Evans, Amrabat and Martial who are all leaving the club this summer.
Without further sales we don't have space or money to bring other players in.
We'd like to sign Olise for the RW, but we currently have Sancho, Greenwood, Antony, Amad and Pellistri on the books. At least 2 maybe 3 or even 4 of them need to leave to free up the funds and make space for Eriksen.
Likewise one of Lindelof and/ or Maguire will need to leave to create the funds/ space for a second CB signing.
While the same can be said of McTominay, Eriksen, Casemiro and Hannibal. At least two of them will need to go for us to be able to sign a second midfielder.
The real tricky area though might be at fullback. With Shaw and Malacia's injury records we need a more reliable LB, yet we probably won't be able to sell either Shaw or Malacia given their injuries. While RB will depend on AWB going, yet there is a real lack of quality options at RB, with the few good options being very expensive. While Dalot's form this year probably means any RB signed would be a backup/ squad player.

I’d love Frimpong to come in. Predominantly RB but he’s efficient anywhere on that side including up front and even CB.

The home window not open for 10 days the intl window opens 1st July so I'm sure we will have a plan to move a few player's on and bring some in.
