thanks ed001 for the swift reply much appreciated. seems the van dijk and michael keane rumours are growing.
{Ed001's Note - Keane would be interesting, but, last I heard, he wasn't so keen on a return, that has probably changed by now though.}

Ed001, what's your opinion of Keane as a player?
{Ed001's Note - decent but not top class defender. Not a player I would consider, if there wasn't the possibility he might have increased motivation playing for United. Certainly not the worst player that could be brought in, an improvement over Smalling, thatg is for sure.}

To be honest a training cone would be an improvement on Smalling. It has more positional sense, gives away less fouls and passes the ball better. Lol.

Knows the club an what it means so an advantage over some. Maybe not first choice quality but could do worse than him for a rotation an cover option.

If we're bringing back Michael, we may as well go the whole hog, and bring Evans back, too. Still a better defender than Smalling or Rojo.
