Lars Kornetka, Manchester United's next Assistant Manager (according to reports), has worked as a video analyst at Bayern Munich between 2013 and 2014.
The manager at the time was Pep Guardiola, and Bayern's B team's manager at the time was Erik Ten Hag.

This is about strategy and structure if the whole club, far more than manager performance.

The best thing about this appointment is that there will be a voice, one that they will apparently listen to, that can give proven advice and direction on what the club NEEDS to do to move forward and be a success.

Putting a structure in place that works regardless of the manager and in many ways disconnected from the manager. We can't be a club that is built around a manager, simply put there isn't a manager good enough with the longevity to make such a system work. Managers need to be interchangeable, unplug then get a new one to plug in without disrupting everything else.

Hopefully Rangnick will either be given the power or his opinion will be respected enough that the changes he thinks are needed get made. Drag our club kicking and screaming if necessary into the 21st century.

Shappy

It is what I have said on here since before SAF retired, fingers crossed, someone to set a direction, put in a structure that doesn’t date back to the 80’s relying on the leadership of one special man.
