The Perisic deal is all to familiar to the Fellaini deal. We could have got both players cheaper. We haven't signed Perisic but if we do he will cost more than what we could have got him for.

What's your point MH? I work in and negotiate complex and large deals at work, but having never negotiated a football transfer I defer to the club's experts to get the best deal done. As in life, not everything runs perfectly and smoothly.
As for Fellaini, he has been nothing but a totally committed and willing professional for United since he signed, gives his all every minute on the pitch and has rarely let us down bar the odd red card when he gets too aggressive (for which I have absolutely no issue with given the soft touch we were pre Jose) .

Eric, I think his point is that we could have signed Fellaini in for less and it sounds like we could have signed Perisic for less than is being quoted now. If we truly wanted Perisic then it looks so is like we cocked it up.

Really not fussed about getting perisic at the so called cheaper amount let alone what's quoted now. If perisic was that badly wanted we would of signed him already. Must be other winger option out there.

The list is bigger than those mentioned above.
Herrera tried to sign the season before for less money and failed for whatever reason.
Fellani paid too much. Offered 25 million for both Fellani and Baines and got 1 for more than the price we wanted to pay for both of them.
Martial unproven and paid to much.
Lindleof been coming for 3 windows.
