I agree with that jred i think taking the money aside which i think has to happen because it's all shoo far removed from reality then walker will turn out to be a big hit at city.

And we don't have any specialist. Valencia, a converted one and TMF. Who isn't actually. A RB. Surely city is doing good. And addressing their problem area openly. Unlike us who looks to play 'he can also play there' players.

£85m for two right backs that can't defend. £50m on two keepers who at best are average. However Pep works with his players and makes them better doesn't he? Make or break season for Pep!

I think Walker will do well for City, but defensively he is suspect and currently his offensive output isn't at an outstanding level to make his lack of defensive nous acceptable.
But is Walker one of the best right backs of all time? No where near. Is he one of the best right backs in the world right now? Probably not.
For me he is average. Danilo couldn't get into the Real Madrid team, he wasn't that amazing at Porto and doesn't play often for Brazil. He too is very average.
