It wasn't pretty but finals rarely are. However if was efficient and comfortable, they had possession and shots but I thought we controlled the game and without being disrespectful it was men against boys, experience against youth.

Great to see Pogba and Miki score, there was a lot of whinging on the live chat about Miki but he was there to score what was the pivotal goal. I thought pretty much everyone played well, Rash got frustrated and didn't have his best game and Miki flitted in and out in the first half but I thought it was a great team performance.

So, that's the full suite of European trophies done, a second trophy this year, and Champions League qualification.

We need to buy sensibly, I don't think we need four or five players who walk into the first team. We need 3 max and possibly a couple of strong squad players.

Well done to Jose, it's been a frustrating and at times disappointing season but 2 more trophies and hopefully some progress towards challenging again.

We know he struggles away from his family, as someone who also works Way all week I would say to him accept it or leave. You can't be happy or do your job properly if it is always on your mind, you need to accept that's how it is and get on with it.

Good end to the season, onwards and upwards.

Mhki didn't have a great game but he did score a goal and the run he made across the goal in the first half made drew the defender out of the centre making space for Pogba's shot. So, despite not playing well, his efforts were key to us winning.

Agree with that AJH - the overarching thought I had was men against boys. It was Jose perfection, I'm not a fan of the style but it was executed flawlessly.

Pogba, Smalling and Herrera really stood out for me. Darmian looked far better than usual as well, more assertive like the other 3.

Rashford had a stinker imo as did Miki if you take away his goal, Mata barely noticed going forward. That's the problem with this way of playing, but a cup final it's all about exploiting your opponents weaknesses, not show boating. Plenty of time to prepare against inexperienced opposition and it showed. Hopefully we lift it a few gears next season now.

Shaw - I know the commentators were raving about Miki's movement for the Pogba goal, but really he was just trying to get in the box for a crossed ball imo, he wasn't thinking about leaving space for Pogba, they were just trying to earn their crust making it seem like that was the plan. Good to see him hit the box though.

I'd say Mata was instrumental in our first goal.
He stole the ball and got it to Fellaini great afterwards.
