Not transfer related as Ed02 said he won't post on that issue.
It's just about the manager Jose. Ed 02, if you don't mind replying.

Has Jose too been set the target of securing a Champions League spot?

Do you see him getting sacked after just one season if he fails to achieve that?

Thanks.

I imagine the minimum target is top 4. However I doubt Jose would get sacked if he struggled to get top 4. We need to give him a minimum of 2 seasons atleast.

I don't think that Mourinho will stick it out. He's complaining that his living situation in Manchester isn't ideal for him.
He doesn't look happy, and the media love stoking the fire and Mourinho bites easily enough for them.
He's either feeling the pressure or regretting taking the job. There are similarities to how he was at Chelsea last season.

Far too early to think that way, it'd not going to happen overnight, look at long it took Fergie to get the club on the right tracks, patience is the key however we are in age of people demanding the here and now, hopefully the fans don't lose sight of that.

Precedent has already been set by the board. Lvg and moyes were both sacked after they didn't achieve that target.

I don't see why mourinho should be any different.

Moyes and especially LVG were sacked because of the fans, attendances were down end of last season.

Moyes and LVG were sacked because they had us playing bad football and we were getting bad results, with no signs of turning it around. The fans negativity was a result of the product being served, not the other way around.

The vast majority of us are happy to be patient so long as the trajectory or signs are good. They weren't under Moyes and LVG, they haven't been so far under Jose. He deserves more time of course, but his start has been sub-par and the fans are right to be feeling a little twitchy if they are.

Ask yourself what LVG did to warrant more time, he was given more than he deserved. if we had been brave at Xmas we would probably be in the CL now, instead the board were hesitant (despite fans calling it right for the most part) and we fell further behind as a result. If something is rotten you cut it out, you don't let it fester.

The best of Jose is still to come . It's far too early to judge him at Utd . This time next year we will be sitting pretty (not millionaires RODDERS) 😆😆.

BFRO

I suspect not. Something is not right at the moment and Jose usually looks like he isn't enjoying it. Something has to radically change.
