Having a look at the UCL draw I can see a City vs Bayern final which will bring up a load of question about whether a manager should be allowed to arrange a move to a club while still under contract and whether we should have a transfer window for managers as well.

How would the Bayern fans feel if City win?

How would the City fans feel about a Bayern win?

It could cause a certain amount of controversy.

Shaps. Reminiscent of a few seasons back when Dortmund played Bayern in the final and Gotze had already agreed a move.

I don't think City fans would hold it against Pep if Bayern won - but were City to finish the season and 5th and beat Bayern - it would raise some big questions.

Thankfully I can't see them getting past Real and actually fancy another all Madrid final.

Ronaldo v that City defence is going to be a joy to watch, what makes you think City will get through shaps?

Augero and co v that madrid defence.

GDS, if I was basing my feelings on talent then Barcelona and PSG would still be incontention. But football rarely works like that.

Football has a habit of throwing up the odd result which looks like destiny.

Real Madrid have far more talent than City, but anything could happen. Real have been very inconsistent, Zidane is unlikely to be their manager next year, their are many question marks over several of the players. Personally I think City getting Real Madrid is the best draw they could hope for in order to make it to the final. Atletico are far to well drill for City's unconvincing forward line. Bayern have Pep and are the most in form team left in the conpetition, certainly the only ones who will be chanpions of their league this year.

I think Pep will over two legs get Bayern through Atletico's defence.

Then with Pep moving to City, it would feel like fate if they were to meet in the final.

Fair play mate, I just think Ronaldo is too good at times and Madrid playing the 2nd leg at home will really suit them.

I agree about the destiny thing but the same could be said for a Madrid final as well, City have been Joe Average at times this season and if Madrid play anywhere near their best they will win comfortably in my opinion.

Madrid will destroy city. Citys defence is really weak and their midfield is hot and cold.

City has Aguero Silva and De Bruyne to rely on for the goals.

I just think Real madrid are far more superior in defence and midfield compared to city.

Real madrid will lift the champions league in my opinion .

Real have the weakest manager of the lot, an army is only as good as its general.

Of course Real have a good chance, they have a great squad. But I wouldn't consider them favourites.

15 Apr 2016 14:51:49
Uefa the referes will favour Real madrid against city that's for sure.
I expect it will be that turkish referee who has sent off a few English based players in big games.

I think this season Athletico will win, probably beating Madrid in the final. I don't see City out-scoring Real over 2 legs.

Also feel that Athletico are the team Pep would least likely want to play against - playing against City and Real are likely to be more open games which suits Bayern.

Feel you're being a tad harsh on Zidane. Time will tell whether he's cut out for management long term, but the win against Barcelona showed he's got a head for tactics. The loss in Wolfsburg was possibly due to underestimating them.

Army is only as good as it's general? Di matteo won it with Chelsea.

15 Apr 2016 16:20:49
Shappy I don't get what point your trying to convey here. Are you having a dig at the fickleness of fans should Pep come up against his future employer or are you questioning Peps honesty and integrity?

Also a transfer window for managers? What? So if a manager gets sacked mid season a club has to beat relegation with a non experienced coaching member of the sacked managers team? Wouldn't work at all.

15 Apr 2016 16:27:53
Maybe managers would get more of a chance to change things around maze?

I personally agree the window should be applied to managers to unless extreme circumstances come into play.

15 Apr 2016 16:44:20
You can drop a player if he is not playing well you can't drop a manager.

The manager has a huge impact on the team so for me a transfer window for managers would not be suitable and probably why there isn't one.

15 Apr 2016 16:48:27
JMB,

I think the whole point is that managers don't get sacked in the middle of the season, not that you sack them and have a lower ranked member of staff in charge!

15 Apr 2016 17:18:48
That's all very well and good until it's your own team that suffering as a result of a poorly chosen manager. Any bells ringing here?

15 Apr 2016 17:20:19
I think the rule in laliga is that if you sack your coach you can't appoint a coach in employment with another la Liga team until the end of season . This effectively stops poaching another clubs manager mid season. This is a good rule imo.

15 Apr 2016 17:26:20
Zidane might not be a great manager but Real have too much individual quality for citys defence.

It qill be an entertqining game but i can see Bale and Ronaldo destroy City.

15 Apr 2016 19:32:48
Bayern VS City Final for me. Madrid Defense is shocking against teams that counter at pace. I can Ramos getting sent off or Pepe.

15 Apr 2016 19:34:50
I had Barcelona wining it and think Bayern will win it.

16 Apr 2016 07:56:30
Bale and Ronaldo v City defence?
No contest in my book.
I look forward with relish to seeing Cited get thrashed. For us United fans it could be the highlight of a poor season. Would be even better if one or both of them then joined us in the summer.

16 Apr 2016 10:10:26
Stranger things have happened, for all you people who think Real Madrid will rip City apart would your opinion change if Bale and or Ronaldo were out injured?

Since De Bruyne came back for City they have looked a different team, if Kompany, Silva and Aguero are all firing then there really is no reason why City can't beat them.

People might not like to accept it but City are there on merit, they've beaten good sides to get there including PSG in the last round.

There is every chance they could beat Real Madrid. Like I said at this stage any of them could win it, but a City vs Bayern final has a hint of destiny about it.
