Well a few of us have been saying that we have a better team than we had been seeing and last night we saw it. If it's as simple as freeing the players up then it hasn't come a moment too soon. Please God it continues for the rest of the season. There may be hope for the old boy yet.

Well who knew that letting them off the shackles and see a performance like that don't understand why he didn't do it long time ago. Might keep him in a job let's hope for ore of the same against Chelsea the only change I would make is put schneiderlin in place of fellini as the box to box midfielder would make a difference it's his best position.

United looked good last night. Play with wingers and Mata in his natural position and go figure we play well lol. Replace Carrick (age) and Fellaini (talent) with Schneiderlin and Herrera (Schweinsteiger/ Carrick as back up) and we have a team lol. We are still TWO CBs short though lol!

Sorry to be a bit negative but frankly Stoke are hardly Barca. Since they lost in the league cup to Liverpool their performances have definitely dropped. So whilst it was a real pleasure to see attacking and at time fluid football from us let's not get carried away. I still think a good team will carve us open and although Chelsea are not playing amazing football either I think they will provide a much sterner test.

In the whole of LVG's reign even with the way we are playing only Arsenal have really 'carved us open' and we have played a lot of top teams.
Stoke had only played one game since the Liverpool game and lost 1-0, so can hardly say their performances have dropped that much. I think people are more bothered about the way we played rather than the quality of the opposition, Stoke are better than Norwich but we didn't take the game to Norwich and somehow managed to lose, so I don't think anybody is getting carried away as such, it was just nice to see attacking football for a change and the fact it yielded a result may mean we continue to play that way.
