Lingard seems to be having one of those games where things just don't come off. Got me thinking. what is Adnan doing out on loan! ?
Anyway. lots of possession as usual, the play is a bit faster and we've created more than recently which has to be good and even Paul Scholes seems happy ;-) . The worrying thing for me is we still haven't scored and after an alright start have now levelled off.
I'm guessing LVG will make a change. It would seem that those that have predicted we have to sacrifice either Martial or Herrara to "accommodate" Rooney are correct so I'm guessing it'll be either Memphis on for Lingard in a straight swap or Herrara on and Martial shoved out wide. Or maybe even Darmian on and Young shifted but Young looks comfortable at right back.

I hope he doesn't make any changes just yet. We've got the possession, we've got the tempo. The lads out there at the moment will be happy that they have got the measure of CSKA. I think based on that a goal will come within 10 minutes.
if not then maybe a little tweak with depay on for lingard. Could be a perfect game for depay.

If only MDH. Nearly 60 min have gone and I see Fellaini warming up. It's only a matter of time till plan lump it up to the big lad is put into action again.

Took the words out of my mouth Danny. Yet again we've got "the possession" and are yet to do anything with it. Nearly 7 hours without a single goal. Time for Fellaini and start lumping long balls.

We've had enough good chances to be ahead. And had we taken just one of them it would have been a totally different game.

Lingard was frustrating in the first half but I like the way he didn't shy away when his end product wasn't quite happening. Decent ball for the goal too.
Not the most exciting game ever and the atmosphere is starting to feel impatient but a good/fair result and a better performance than of recent weeks.

I thought lingard played very well given how new this must be all to him. we beat PSV next and we have qualified. Well done boys.
