What do you make of Le Graet's opinion?

{Ed001's Note - it is ridiculous. You can't pick and choose which forms of discrimination are ok and which are worse than others. What next, will he say you can stop for antisemitism but not if it abuses another religion? Or we can only stop for racism if it is about black people but not if it is about Asians? The guy is an utter imbecile and should be immediately sacked. I just can't believe he actually said that. It is as ludicrous as telling Lukaku that someone chanting monkey noises at him is a compliment.}

So it's not just me then. I am Surprised when it is clear cut like this, people in authority in the country do not realize is and act accordingly.

{Ed001's Note - authorities never fail to disappoint.}

Should games be stopped for abusive chants towards a referee?
Or for chants containing foul and abusive language?
Im not condoning any sort of discrimination.
I hear it chanted by many home teams 'you scouse b$$$$$$$' directed towards Liverpool players. Or manc this or manc that towards city and united players. Should all those games be stopped?

Where to you draw the line? A lot of what you hear chanted at football games is unacceptable.

An old firm game would last longer than the entire ashes series never mind a 5 day test match.

This discrimination has been going on for years. Ricky villa and ossie got it for years in the 80s because they were from Argentina. Irish players get abused regularly just for being irish.

Banners and chants displayed against Beckham after his red card at the wc for England were common place. Is that ok? Or should we stop games

If we start stopping games for idiots in the ground singing idiotic songs and making idiotic chants and gestures then we are in trouble.

At rugby or gaa or baseball cricket basketball etc etc opposing fans all sit amongst each other. The games are so much more enjoyable to attend for the most part.

The tribalism amongst football supporters belongs to a different era as do most of their thoughts and actions inside football stadiums. Single them out and ban them 1 by 1 if necessary that's the best way to deal with them imo.

{Ed001's Note - stop the game, find them, then throw them out and ban them. But I do agree, it is time to get rid of the tribalism as it makes things worse separating everyone.}

Agree mate. I would love to see a club to be allowed to take up the gauntlet and have a stand that is mixed supporters.

{Ed001's Note - the Merseyside derby was always mixed until recently. It should have stayed that way.}

Just posted the same fresh.
I know it was testational pace but scholes played every game at his own pace which is the sign of a great player. His pass through to rvp was the best pass your likely to see all season poor lescott is still dizzy.

James McClean gets called Bad names even death threats every year off his own and every opposing fan for not wearing a poppy on his shirt! Yet that’s not racism? Matic doesn’t wear 1 but that’s ok!
